I guess all the other stores in America don’t sell made in China. I occasionally shop at Big Lots and the employees are a lot friendlier than Walmart and Target.
Thanks for that. Mine isn't closing. I love that place. My last K-mart closed about a year and a half ago and I really miss it. These stores have some unique items to buy (not like a very uniform Walmart).
Research Bob’s Red Mill products. I don’t remember where I saw this, the products are testing positive for roundup (don’t remember official name). I didn’t research it because I don’t have any on hand.
Dollar General is such a shit store. Nothing they sell is good. And they don't filter the air at all so everything smells and tastes like EVERYTHING else, a combination of wet cardboard, fabric softener, freezer burn, febreeze, detergent, plastic pool toys (pthalates), candy and cereal smells...I call it creme of industry smell .... you get cancer just by walking in for one second
Exactly, I used to shop the new one 1/4 mile from me. Eating ice cream and smelling laundry detergent did it for me. I read the scent is something they use for pest control. I don’t know for sure but it doesn’t make sense because no other stores have that awful smell.
McDonalds (expensive fast food that is shit...chick fil a is actually cheaper now)
Ikea (its just dumb and their stuff is cookie cutter plywood chyna garbage)
Best Buy (cancer pthalate smelling nothing store with nothing in it that you can't just get on amazon / newegg / tigerdirect / microcenter.com for 1/3 less)
I used to think the same thing until I went with a friend. I buy water, paper products and other household items cheaper than anywhere else. Also get discount coupons several times a month. The employees are very nice, something that’s very rare these days. Of course they have cheaper furniture and house decor but some people can’t afford high end items like this. Wanna talk about a shit store, Ollie’s is just nasty and junky.
the SS Bidenomis is sinking quickly!! and that sucking sound is harris doing her "thang"!
I bet everything in there was made in China.
I am not crying.

The stock changes over frequently so it's nice to wander to see what's new.
So true - it's fun.
We get organics like teas and Bob's Red Mill from ours, it's not closing yet!
nice

yep mine here is goin down.........
I'm glad my state is only losing one and then it's the one in North Las Vegas (we could lose that city and I'd be OK with it!)
I'd say something disparaging about a big box stores hawking chinese garbage but that's all there are in most places
I haven't been around that long, but I definitely remember "Made in America" disappearing during Clinton's reign
How hard do things have to be for Big Lots to close?!
That's the cheapest place out there, the end of the line for "substitution." If you cannot buy a product there, you aren't going to get it.
Things are BAD
You know things are bad when discount stores are closing... great job communists
There’s a Dollar General or a Dollar Tree every 500ft in my town- only one Big Lots.

They're not even a discount. I went in one a couple months ago and most things were as expensive as buying from a gas station.
Yeah, I don’t get the attraction either but seems like everybody does “ Dollar Tree hacks” ??

Big Lots is a shit store that never ever should have existed
Here are stores that probably SHOULD go away
