They don't poll anybody - they just make up the numbers to suit their narrative.

Came here to say this. It's obvious as hell.
That poll was conducted two weeks ago and it's also their first foray into national polling.
I read the other day that a lot of these polls showing Harris winning greatly oversample female college graduates in order to get the result they want.
Probably matched with purchase records showing blue and purple hair dye.
Don't bother paying attention to any of this shit ... she's going to get a bump as the media makes her look like Queen Salvation. It'll likely be bigger after their convention. This happens ALL of the time.
Then, much like Hillary Clinton, she will open her mouth and people will be as motivated to vote for her as they are eating dogshit.
Just don't panic, and always work like Trump is down 10 points. NEVER get complacent. Trust me on that. It'll fuck you up.

If they told the truth, that Harris is a terrible candidate and has no chance... the money stops. Less money = no advertising Less advertising = no interest.

the fake poll numbers are for two reasons.
First, to sway weak-minded people who just want to follow the "in crowd"... who knows, they might convince a few nitwits that the Camel is actually popular.
Second and more importantly, so that in future generations they can write history books that cite these poll numbers to paint a picture that the Camel's victory was totally expected in the weeks leading up to the election, that any oldtimers stories the kids have heard that Trump was more popular don't stand up to the 'primary sources'.
