Third hand cigarette smoke is not the smoker. It is not someone in the same room as the smoker. Third hand cigarette smoke is to be around someone who has been around someone who smoked a cigarette.
There was no mention of the science, because obviously there is no way to collect data and determine if someone has been around someone who has been around someone who smoked. or how many times a baby had been around someone who had been around someone who smoked. But nonetheless it had at that time become scientific "fact" that third hand cigarette smoke was the sole cause of SIDS.
It played in a regular loop along with the other junk propaganda.
As a side note the incident was right before the unveiling of the Covid 19 pandemic in which a person who uses nicotine products REALLY IS scientifically proven to be 80% less likely to develop the disease. It is probably impossible to calculate how much being around the smoke would reduce the infection rate. But it would likely play a role.
My wife & I got the same shots in 2015 for the Tanzanian Bwindi great ape trek, Sabi Sands & Kruger NPs, tooling around Rork's Drift, Namibia, & Victoria Falls. We both got sick over the next weeks. In 2022, she died of ALS. I have a demyeliating polyneuropathy affecting my cranial nerves. Nearly blind, hard of hearing, & can only tell sweet & salty now. No way you can tell me vaccines are safe now.

There are people getting Dementia in their early fifties now. It used to be late 70's and 80's. Maybe not but I think all those heavy metals used as a "preservative" gather in the brain and other organs could be the cause of early Dementia. I remember when I was a kid we got 4 vaccines--1950's---our parents trusted the government. Today I think it is something like 90 vaccines. Vaccines are harmful, in spite of their being able to prevent certain diseases. This is a question of "how many"? One, usually is ok, but not necessarily. In some kids, many seem to be ok. It is a crap shoot, really. As a parent, you have to decide what level of risk you are comfortable with. Life is a risk. Is your child going to die from the mumps or measles? Probably not. Perhaps a better way to go would be to work like crazy to give your child the best immune system possible, with a nutrient dense diet filled with fermented foods, good fats and plenty of vitamins and minerals. And, especially, breastfeeding for many months.
