The Story Behind Trump’s Second Assassination Attempt Takes a Strange Turn—Could This Fuel Speculation About a Mole in His Inner...
New information has emerged about Ryan Routh, the man who attempted to shoot President Trump during his golf outing at his West Palm Beach resort, raising
There’s a mole in his inner circle.
This is someone close to him! Really close!
Not necessarily, the Secret Service obviously has to be notified of the change in plans. Then they coordinate up to DHS and down to local law enforcement. There are multiple points where the information could leak within this coordination effort.
Which is why so many were against creation of the DHS and centralizing the nations security apparatus.
Centralized security apparatus is never good.
The first thing that jumped out at me was... "AK-47 with a scope" .
I don't knowmuch about weapons, but I didn't think an AK was accurate at that range (300-500 yards) even with a scope.
Why would a pseudo-military fanatic with ties to Ukraine and access to weapons chhoose THAT weapon?
Speaking as one who has actually shot at 500-yard distances (USMC Parris Island, using an M-14 with only iron sights, under favorable weather conditions, from a prone position, and carefully taking my shots), I can confirm that it is a challenging thing to hit a target at that distance. You have to gauge wind, control breathing, focus intently, not jerk the trigger but squeeeeeeze... and every element has to come together, to even get on the target board.
Your average AK-47 is a loose fitting rifle that (IMHO) simply doesn't have the kind of build that would make it a good sniper rifle at long ranges...and the 7.62x39 round is also inadequate for that distance. It's POSSIBLE but UNLIKELY that the dude had the rifle tuned with floating the barrel, but since AK barrels are either pinned in or screwed into the receiver, this is unlikely. And that particular round after leaving the muzzle at approx. 1,600fps (feet per second) is going to lose velocity at a rapid rate, and at 200 yards lacks much penetrating power.
AK's (and their earlier rifles the SKS) are more for close-in combat or urban combat. Very effective at 50 to 150 yard ranges, but not much beyond that.
When I heard that the would-be shooter was at about 500 yards with an AK-47, I realized that even with a scope, hitting anything accurately would be mostly a matter of luck. Florida in general, and West Palm Beach in particular (I've visited there several times) is a rather windy place. At 500 yds the winds would do incalculable things to a ballistic trajectory, and unless you have a fine-tuned rifle, know sniping methods that most humans don't possess, and have trained for such a shot for many hours, that shot would be mostly impossible for an AK rifle and that particular ammo.
Your mileage may vary, others may have different opinions, but take all that as you will.
First off, thank you for your service!
Secondly, you are absolutely correct in all facets of your comment.
Semper Fidelis....
You are correct on all aspects. However, it would seem shooter was waiting for Trump to go from 5th to 6th hole that would have put him much closer to the target.
I want you on my team when the shtf!
Thanks
Those M14's were heavy weren't they?
Yes, as I recall about 11 or 12 pounds, then add a 20-round full magazine and you're talking weight.
The replacement M-16 was much lighter, but it lacked the ballistic power of the M-14. Two different calibers, .308 [or 7.62x51 NATO) in the M-14 and 5.56mm in the M-16.
The M-14 could punch through a moderate size tree, but that same tree would simply absorb the 5.56 bullet.
The M-14 was designed off of the old M-1 WWII battle rifle, which was superior to the German 98 Mauser in fire power, but the M-14 was inadequate for jungle warfare or urban warfare.
All of these statements are my opinions, but I'm pretty sure I'm right on most of the details.
I had to requalify my Marksman ribbon while stationed in Wiesbaden Germany in the Air Farce in 1968! I had to do it with the M-14 and remember they had a Wood stock, unlike the M-16 Mattel rifle! Big difference in weight!
More recoil too, but I loved that rifle. I have the civilian version from Springfield, called the M1A1. I take it out about every 2 or 3 months to re-bruise my shoulder. 😆
I agree with you 100%. However, the firearm in the picture, is probably not the one he was using. If you know what I mean. that’s what they leave behind for crumbs for us.
Could it be an SVD? It uses the AK platform but shoots the 7.62 X 54R cartridge and is a 1 - 2 MOA rifle.
I used to compete in High Power Rifle using a nice pair of match-prepped M-1 Garands. The .30-06 cartridge is somewhat equivalent to the 7.62 X 54R. I agree, it is damned hard even to hit the paper at 600 yards.
Waaayyyy beyond my expertise. I am glad there are Patriots like you who know their stuff! Hand me a weapon and tell me to shoot, and I'm a good shot. Ask me to explain it... not much to offer.
Believe me, I was the guy who made the other shooters look good, I was no expert but I was serious about it all and I have a good deal of time on the line.
The Sheriff said that it was an AK-47-STYLE weapon. I heard someone else said it may have been an SKS.
Edited for a typo. And they confirmed (in the briefing) the rifle was an SKS.
He was waiting for Trump to golf the next hole. Not fire from 500 yards.
Another thought: if WH's are in control, then the leak didn't really happen, but WH's are scripting a narrative to make the public further aware that the alphabet agencies are deep state. It might explain why the assassin was so inept, too.
“President Donald Trump’s golf game on Sunday was a last-minute addition to his schedule, two sources familiar with the matter said. Trump had no public events on his schedule for Sunday.”
I keep saying Sunday he was off work and the schedule was private. So it's someone in his inner circle closer to him than his campaign!
I'm sure he realizes this.
Maybe the more interesting angle here is President Trump made last minute changes to expose a leaker. Maybe this was a sting operation.
When itinerary changes are made the Secret Service has to be notified. Then they need to coordinate with their superiors and local law enforcement. Somewhere in that coordination chain there was a leak.
People need to realize something they may have never thought of. Years ago I worked at the Pentagon and had access to a couple of the Ops Centers. For those of you that may understand this, those Ops Centers track a bunch of things, one of which is NEACP (or kneecap). Anyone in the Ops Center could see where NEACP was at any particular time. I didn't have a schedule and wasn't privy to future movements but could certainly see it in real-time. I did have the clearance required to be there and see anything that was going on, but that wasn't my mission.
I would guess the same could absolutely happen in this case. A list exists of everyone that would have access to the areas where this type of information would be discussed or disseminated. It would certainly be easy to have a finite list of suspects to investigate if they actually wanted to.
Maybe it was a set up to rout some traitor out.
There is no mole it our Government.
PERIOD.
Laura Loomer 😂😂😂
Hell of a weekend she’s had.
