I have long wondered how I personally can forgive the average Leftist once this is all over and we've restored our Republic. God and His forgiveness is divine, but I am far from divine.
Q spoke many times about how truth will wake up the masses. But this poll goes beyond run of the mill leftist stupidity. To answer "yes" to this poll makes you unredeemable. You don't "wake up" from this kind of hatred and evil.
I don't know how we can share a country with these people. This is grotesque.

The 4-6% remind me of a story I heard in The Bible.

Once the figure is paired down to 4-6%. It is the 4-6% that I am commenting on as truly criminal and it is my opinion. RFK jr is a Democrat, and I would not be including him in the 4-6% remnant of harmful marxist-democrats who would not only find an assassination attempt against my party’s candidate as acceptable, but probably would pay or participate in one or subvert a just & legal conviction against a guilty assassin.
i understand all that. i don't think the 4-6% will consist entirely of criminals. That's just the people that will never wake up. Ignorance isn't a crime.
I have my own opinion. You need solid evidence to convict someone. Many could have told what they knew and chose not to.
They will have no choice but to wake up when they realize exactly how alone they really are.

In the days following the first assassination attempt I spent some time with Trump-hating acquaintances. I noticed that they were all uncharacteristically QUIET about the subject of DJT (this suited me, because ordinarily they rag on him, and I stay quiet and wait for the subject to be changed - it makes my life more peaceful).
I realised the reason for their silence was because of their disappointment that he was still alive. I could sense it like an elephant in the room, yet none of them was going to be the first to say this out loud. Yes, it is very evil, and the evil has become normalised. Evil is seductive.
I don't have any answers other than to say I recognise the problem that you identify. I have adopted a practice of praying silently for people like this when I am around them. In addition, I have curtailed my social calendar (which was fairly low-key anyway) to minimise my interactions with them.
If any of you frens has a way forward please let me know.
One of my dearest friends is one of the most infected with TDS. I try to steer clear of politics around her. She will make comments here and there (such as the "it's Trump's fault he was shot at" bullshit), but I refuse to engage because I know that I have a scorching temper and if I let my tongue loose for just one moment I will say and do things I might regret (or might not regret). I have to keep myself on an extremely short leash. I try to keep in mind that on the inside she has qualities that are good (otherwise she wouldn't be my friend). She would give her own kidney to save a friend. She would open a vein for me.
I pray someday that whatever "woke mind virus" infects these people can be cured and they will see the truth. If they don't, then they won't be a part of my future. But until all this shakes out, I won't know. I leave it all in God's hands. Politics are a circus side show. The fight for our souls is the real war here.
Notice that most of the time it's us conservatives that feel we need to control what we say around others. Meanwhile, it's half expected for liberals to spew vitriol whenever and wherever they go. Generally they don't meet much resistance from our side as most of us wish to avoid confrontation. What would our culture look like if our side sought confrontation in the form of debate?
It would look like what it always looks like: insults, then screaming (or petulant silence) then violence.
Violence should be met with staunch resistance, as it was in America every generation before ours. The lowering of testosterone in our men goes hand in hand with the increase of tolerance towards irrationality and incivility. It's all by design, I think from generational poisoning by plastics. Before the 1980's, plastic was rarely used. Now it is nearly impossible to get away from it. Practically everything we consume is wrapped in plastic.
Amen to that. We have been attacked on every level for decades. I pray for a turn of the tide.
This really hit home for me fren. So many people I grew up with, who were truly salt of the earth, are consumed with TDS. These are some of the best people I have ever known - ever. It is all very confusing and disheartening. As you say so eloquently:

As humans, forgiveness is something we do for ourselves. We don't let the pain and anger hold us prisoner. Forgiving does not mean forgetting or trusting again. Just remember that one day those people will have to face the Lord.

Your first mistake is thinking you need to make peace with evil. We are not to be peaceful to evil or condone it. Jesus came and flipped tables. David was a warrior and went up in force to all the evil around him and God said he was a man of his own heart.
What makes you think we are to be here and be accepting and loving of evil? We are here to defend God and defeat evil no matter the cost.
Quit with the thought that we must allow evil to walk all over us. God gave us the power to walk on snakes and scorpions.
We have the most powerful God and no one understands the gifts he has blessed us with. It is time to destroy each of these demonically driven individuals with force.

I don't understand how they can see the same things that we do and not come to the same conclusion. Trump ads can be kh's words without any commentary and lefties think it's intelligent, just what they want to hear from a leader. No actual answers just flowery words jumbled together.
Bringing God into your heart is a personal choice. We can show them the way and light up the path but its entirely up to them to make that first step.
