That may depend on whether we are talking about actual pedophilia, where the victims are prepubescent, or about cases where the victims are already teenagers, hebephilia or ephebophilia. As these days every case where the victims have been under the legal age seem to be called pedophilia that is probably confusing your average news consumer more than a bit. Like the photos of the girls from Epstein's island, all the ones I have seen are older teenagers you might believably have thought were already of legal age.
Maybe that has been done on purpose, so as many as possible, when they see headlines of famous people accused of being pedos, would think that said celeb is maybe "too fond" of 17 year olds. My opinion. If you take a truly random sample of Americans, I would bet that less than 3 percent would call themselves an Anon. I think people have heard of Q. But that does not make them an Anon.
