I thought these were the guys caught looting from Newport immediately after the flooding. The tires slashing is a separate thing. I haven’t heard of the trucks being robbed. This may be two different stories being mushed together to ruin two factual stories with bad info so we look like kooks when we reference it to sleeping friends.

No. The news article posted above mentions nothing about suspects nor arrests. Just 8 trucks vandalized at a TA Travel Center.
These guys didn't have anything to do with the semi tire incident. That happened in another part of the state.
