Yeah 100%, with only a pic and not a video attached, tells me this is fake, unfortunately. I'd love the old school McDonald's to come back, tallow, prices, and all
He’s right!!
Years ago, I worked at a national fast food test kitchen. I signed an NDA. They would test a number of oils all set up in the same area, & had a test eating area where corporate employees would come downstairs to try out new lunch ideas.
It was my job to open the secret hatch, push through the food and they would report which tasted the best! I would collect the data, or they completed the test questionnaire on the computer.
One day ..they had all the fryers going. I began getting ill as I walked past their fryers.. as the day wore on.. After a while, I was so dizzy I almost passed out, I left and never returned.
To this day I don’t eat at that fast food restaurant or hardly any for that matter.
Whether he said it or not, the race is on to see which fast food outlet switches to healthy tallow, lard, olive and avocado oil to increase sales. Properly handled (filtered daily and temperature controlled} tallow can be reused for a long time. A money saver that's good for you and reduces wate!
I have completely stopped eating out because 99% of all establishments use seed oils. I pray this will change and we can go back to healthier fats. Seed oils along with high doses of sugar (or even worse high-fructose corn syrup) is what makes people unhealthy, fat and sick. It also happens to be what virus, parasites and fungus feeds on which also helps keep us in a sick state in need of big pharma.
Not only tallow but I've heard that farmers that grow conventional potatoes don't eat those potatoes. They are glyphosate resistant and get sprayed like crazy.
There are no glyphosate resistant potatoes. If the field is sprayed it would be as a burn down prior to planting and possibly a touch up spray to control weeds before potato emergence. After leaves show, no glyphosate would be applies on potatoes.
So I was a bit confused. It's a GMO variety called NewLeaf potato that was genetically modified by Monsanto to produce its own insecticide. Still not something I would want to consume.
Oooh ok. Yes that makes sense. I'd have to look into it but I assume it is the same as the BT trait in corn, or at least very similar. Side note - ever since they put the BT/RR trait into sweet corn about a decade ago I can't hardly eat it. It tears my stomach up the next day. It's terrible. I really did love sweet corn on the cob.
Thanks. I'll have to double check my sources. It was from a Michael Pollan book from a while back. He interviewed some potato farmers but maybe it wasn't glyphosate.
Omg this is HUGE..!!! There is a whole grassroot community rising up that is very anti-seedoil. Some of them are on Reddit: r/stopeatingseedoils. They have already recognized RFK would take action in this field and now that’s he’s locked in with Trump and Mr President is denouncing the harmful oils himself - and in a McDonald’s of all places where they obviously use seed oils (used to be tallow in the 80s). If I was not already pro Trump this would definitely move me over the goal line.
Didn't watch 100% of his appearance there but never heard him say it.
Given that it didn't link to actual video of him saying it, it's likely fake.

I watched the cbs affiliate stream, wouldn't be shocked if they cut this part off
I miss the 90s when you could get a supersized milkshake, probably over 40 fluid ounces, and I think it probably only cost 2 dollars and change.

they tasted better too. #MAHA

What, now we won't even have bugs to eat. 😂

If anyone Monsanto adjacent tells you there is no other way of controlling pests show them this.
A patent by a respected mycologist about using mushroom mycelia to attract and kill pests. https://patents.google.com/patent/US7122176
There are MANY alternatives, yes. No dispute there. Just pointing out roundup ready potatoes are not a thing. Yet.
Also, glyphosate is an herbicide. Not insecticide.

Make fries in lard again
New flair added!
If they cooked with tallow and used potatoes, I might actually swing by every once in a while

Was Trump going under cover at Micky Ds to find out what's really in their ingredients? 😮 Another 'Black Op🤣
It's only a Black Op if he burned the fries. 😁
Wow
