I like the suggestion in the Slate piece that not only are the Dems' pets too incompetent to be able to secure voter ID, they 're also too stupid to do things on time, like mail in a ballot so it arrives on time.
Haha, love your comment fren. And thanks for the link.
As Justice Kavanaugh recently emphasized: “To state the obvious, a State cannot conduct an election without deadlines . . . A deadline is not unconstitutional merely because of voters’ own failures to take timely steps to ensure their franchise.”
Its retarded to think someone needs that time to mail a ballot. What it does do, is it tells the Democrats how many ballots they need to inject to win. Yeah but no, once counting starts no more ballots should be accepted. Period. Fuck anyone who says otherwise.
Great follow up to the other post about this ruling giving clarification on which states this ruling applies. As I read it, the ruling would apply to all the states, not just those in The 5th circuit. This also makes Trump’s latest Cease and Desist post even more powerful. Almost as if he knew the ruling might be dropping today.
It seems to me (no special knowledge) that we citizens should be able to sue individuals who work for us in our county election offices when they do not follow the laws. These people are bonded by insurance companies - I bet if lawsuits were filed against these individuals their bonds would be dropped and they would not be able to stay in their job. Anyone have any expertise on this type of thing?
This ruling will prevent the massive ballot drop of "mail in" ballots that were produced once the Dems knew how much Joe was losing by in the 2020 election.
NOW they Dems will have to pre-cheat instead of post cheat. The problem is, with the pre-cheat, they have no idea how many fake ballots they will need to win.
By its own terms, the ruling applies only to Mississippi. If SCOTOS rules on this I suspect they will say their ruling applies to ever election after 2024. We have all see this. They will fix the next election, but not the one 11 days away.
I hope I am wrong, but this would be par for the course judging by past rulings.
Maybe if libtard states hadn't slipped these new laws in under the radar, they would have been openly and completely vetted against established law, and the chaos the author bemoans could have been averted.
But then they would have lost bigly in 2020 and 2022 and that was more important at the time.
With all this EARLY voting, you'd think everyone would get their Mail In ballots in on time with no problems. This is merely the LEFT trying to push their luck so they can cheat forever.
Salty lil sniveler, isn't he?
Here's the decis: https://s3.documentcloud.org/documents/25252882/rnc-ballots-case.pdf

Agreed. Need more time? Vote earlier dumbshits.

Soo… there is no Election Day? I’m confused- I can see the person writing this article seething writing this lol REEEEEE!

Coping. Coping and Seething.
But will the states actually ABIDE by that ruling?
If they cheat in the elections, Trump has promised legal consequences.
Nah….
The cheaters are the losers. It's clear in our Constitution that we have an election DAY, not week.

You are likely right, but for 2024 I am counting on...

5th circuit: ruling
Slate REEEEeeeeeeeeeEEEEeeeeeEEEEeeee!!!!!
It’s a 5th Circuit Federal Court decision aka law of the land on federal elections not just MS.
Wipe the slate clean...
Use Slate as a millstone
With all this EARLY voting, you'd think everyone would get their Mail In ballots in on time with no problems. This is merely the LEFT trying to push their luck so they can cheat forever.
Just covers the 5th circuit states. But if the Republicans start that process in a different circuit and lose, then it could go to the Supreme Court.
You always pop it in an over night envelope if you are too slow.
i like the end...:
"And people who reject the outcome of the election will seize upon the ruling to claim that the results are illegitimate. "
Illegitimate because of a ruling?
isn't that kinda contradictory?
He also accused the judge of "making it up as he goes along."
...after noting that the law doesn't clarify these issues.
Isn't making up what the law doesn't clarify, like, the exact job description of a judge?
