We mark them but our state still certifies the electronic total while our paper ballots are stored for recount purposes only.

Question: Isn't recording in a vote center against voting rules? Just wondering, if this was exposed, how it would be accepted if it's illegal to record or bring a recording device inside the voting facility?
I guess it's the same as a whistleblower breaking an NDA contract or some other form of non-disclosure policy? I was just thinking on both sides of the equation.
This same thing happened to me in 2016. Three times I chose Donald Trump and times when I checked my choices, it flipped to Hillary. Finally, on the 4th try, it worked. Loudly told the poll workers and everyone I saw in line to check their vote before they flipped the switch to cast their vote. This was not a computer screen. It was a more like an old voting machine but it allowed people to check their vote before flipping the switch to cast.
Sounds like a touch screen alignment issue. I used to align touch screens. They need a technician immediately to adjust it.
