To be honest Press Secretary is actually quite a rough job, I doubt anyone with a conscience actually wants it. You have to deal with the worst bunch of lying, scathing scumbags all day long, you are constantly getting vindicated and you rarely get a break, also there isn't much you can do except arguing back and forth and you don't actually get to make any decisions or policies. So if you have a successful background in other professions you probably would not take the job...
