Nope. Being that it has the red and green lights it is probably something off the shelf though.
Came here to say this but you beat me to it.
Those were big in the 80’s. You could see them from gas stations to movie theaters. We called them galaga or was it zaxxon?

Osprey helicopter
Nope. Can't mistake an Osprey for anything else. Loud as shit and big. I live near a Boeing factory. Unmistakable even at night
Ah, no.
It's a dual rotor vtol craft. Might not be an MV22, But the Army is currently flight testing a new model they want to replace the UH60 blackhawk, so i suspect it may be that.
It would never be mistaken for a drone. Check out the size and shape.
If it were a drone to be worried about, they would have blacked out the lights.
Ergo... nothing to worry about.
There are two (occassionally three) plane style drones (big) that fly in the same part of the sky just Northwest of Austin just about every night. For hours on end. I thought they were helicopters for the longest time as they appear to hover in place. Been going on for at least a few years. I finally caught sight if one, I think, last year. Just before dusk. It flew right over me, and I was able to see what it was. I've been meaning to make a post to see if that happens anywhere else.
Edit: If anyone lives out this way look to the West just as you move from Austin to Round Rock on 35 (Pflugervilleish I believe around Grand Avenue). They will be two unusually bright lights not far above the horizon just after dark to at least eleven.
Looks like the old 1942 type of fighter pilot we used to play in the arcade in the 80s.. good ol' days
Galaga fighter :)
X-Wing fighter... the rebels are here!!! sans-Luke of course
He joined the dark side long ago.
Norfolk swarm lasting 17 days had dozens of drones with a few Car Sized Mother Ships. Wonder if this is the same thing. Odd there's usually a large military testing facility nearby. Jersey has multiple testing facilities. Definitely State owned Drones. 99% of Civilians don't fly Car Sized Drones. Sounds like US DOD to me.
But why? Is it due to all the advanced Drone Warfare in Ukraine or because they're afraid of us?

Look at the artists rendering of this thing. DARPA said test flights are scheduled for Summer 2025, did they finish this project early and are just playing around?
Probably not a hobby drone. Maybe corporate or military...
Lights help indicate the aircraft's position and direction to other pilots, especially during nighttime or poor visibility conditions:
Red Light: Located on the left (port) wing tip.
Green Light: Located on the right (starboard) wing tip.
White Light: Located on the tail or rear of the aircraft.
