I wonder if the distraction will be something to do with Trump's certification. -

Planning for Carter's death had begun several years prior, according to The New York Times. Carter will be taken by motorcade to Atlanta, where he will arrive at the Georgia State Capitol and lie in repose at the Carter Center for a day and a half. He will lie in state at the United States Capitol for an additional day and a half before a funeral service at the Washington National Cathedral. Carter will be interred at his home in Plains, Georgia.
