I don’t like the score idea either, but no one is forced to stay on X.
As for Musk thinking he can push Farage out of the his own Party, that’s doubtful. If anything it might cause a paradoxical effect and have unlikely people rallying to Farage’s defense. Two years ago Musk took a similar run at President Trump and we saw how that worked out.
The idea Musk could take over MAGA and try to push President Trump out is laughable. President Trump was going to win 2024 with or without Musk. Musk knew that and made the business decision to jump on the Trump train. The better question is what is President Trump’s objective for letting Musk on board?
Remember it wasn’t all that long ago Musk was saying President Trump was too old to run again and lacked the common sense to be effective in the job. Then, President Trump mocked Musk on Truth Social, saying he could have made Musk drop to his knees and beg. He also pointed out irregularities in Musk’s Twitter deal.
POTUS has a long history of bringing people and countries under his influence and control. If people are worried that Musk has too much influence over President Trump, they are seeing the world upside down. The question is what is the Trump objective Musk is knowingly, or unknowingly, being used to achieve?

I think Elon is getting a little big for his britches, as they say. He started this crap by taking a run at Trump, as you said. Now he thinks he can foist his will on people by politicking. While he undoubtedly helped get Trump in the too big to rig zone, I still don't trust this man's intentions. I first knew him as a corporate welfare charlatan. It's going to take a lot for me to change that view. His censorship escapades have done nothing in his favor, either.

Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company xAI announced Monday it had raised $6 billion in a Series C funding round, with backing from major investors including BlackRock, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Fidelity, Morgan Stanley, and other high-profile investors.
Strategic investors NVIDIA and AMD also participated in the round, continuing their support for xAI’s infrastructure scaling efforts. The funding round was exclusive to xAI’s existing investors, many of whom had previously supported Musk’s acquisition of X, according to Financial Times.
The latest financing, first revealed through a SEC filing last week, brings xAI’s total funding to $12 billion. It follows a previous $6 billion round completed earlier in 2024. According to CNBC, Musk’s AI business targets a valuation of around $50 billion, which would double its valuation six months ago.
The fresh capital will be used to support the research and development of xAI’s generative AI model, Grok, and to expand its infrastructure, the team shared in the announcement.
Since its Series B funding in May 2024, xAI has launched several key initiatives, including Colossus, which it describes as “the world’s largest AI supercomputer,” Grok 2, and the xAI API for developers.
The company also introduced Aurora, its proprietary image generation model, and integrated Grok with the X platform to provide real-time information processing capabilities.
xAI is currently training Grok 3, which it calls its “most powerful model yet.” The company aims for it to be comparable to or even surpass OpenAI’s GPT-5, with a focus on enhancing its capabilities in natural language understanding, image generation, and coding tasks.
Musk anticipates that Grok 3 will be launched by the end of this year. Following its release, xAI plans to expand its infrastructure to include 200,000 GPUs, with the potential to scale up to as many as 300,000 GPUs in the future.

True but I've been following Q drops since '17 and I've yet to have anyone explain to me just what the plan is. They'll tell you their hopes and dreams, their ideas, the goal of MAGA, and a romanticized view of how things ought to be, but what is the plan?

I didn't watch it all because I don't have all day to watch movie length videos but from what I saw it's an hour and twenty minute video full of exactly what I said. It's no refresher, it's a confirmation that I was right. Opinion, speculation, goals and dreams. That's nice and all, but again what is the plan? It shouldn't take more than a paragraph to describe it, so what is it? If you can't tell me, why are you here?
I know some people get rankled when other people ask questions and notice things so I expect push back just like I give it, but expecting people to trust an unknown 'plan' mentioned by an unknown person(s) on a little known website without having skepticism is a bit much. Especially if I am expected to trust a self appointed expert that made one video among thousands on the issue.

Wanting a full tank of gas in your truck is a goal. Figuring out how to make it so would be a plan. Implementing your ideas to make it so would be a way of trusting your plan.

Bannon is certainly an alarmist, I watch at least some of his show each day. It varies depending on how much doom he is focused on that day. He has his points but I certainly don’t agree with everything he says. He took one for the team by going to jail rather than testifying against Trump. That could explain some of his positions.
