All politicians are just useful idiots. They come and go and so are not useful long-term assets. Bureaucrats are more useful because they tend to remain in power longer and cannot be voted out.
Billionaires with an inflated view of their self-worth as people are one step higher up the chain because their money can make things happen..
I think the real top people will be more dynastic so they can work for a much longer time, over generations. Other family members will be involved and that will enhance their power and it explains why they spend so much time trying to break up everyone else's families. They don't want any competition.
They will also want to remain behind the scenes and seldom in the news. They don't want to be in any "richest persons lists." Wealth will be arranged to not actually be owned by them directly. In fact: "They will own nothing and be happy!" They will just retain control of their $billions ($trillions?) It works like a company car. It is not yours but everyone assumes it is and you have complete control over it.

Whether Obama is "in charge" or not, he still bears responsibility for carrying out whatever orders he was given. Not being "top dog" does not buy him absolution.
I don't know that "Mike" can be held accountable for anything. Technically (s)he never held office, and to my knowledge has no political power whatsoever. If (s)he was party to the pizza parties -- they'd have to have solid evidence to do anything. And then too, can a civilian (who held no public office) be questioned by a military tribunal? I honestly don't know.
Maybe he already sang and that wasn't really Obama at the funeral, they probably couldn't find an ugly enough mask for Michelle/Michael and he has been taken out as well. Just fantasizing but hey strange days we're living through.
