Same here in southern Alabama 🥶❄️but it's so beautiful while it lasts. We got around 9 inches of snow, in my backyard last night in untouched big area of yard, I measured 9 1/2 inches. This much snow has been unheard of until now, broke records, lol. We rarely get any snow this far south, it's usually North of us.
I had 3-4" across my driveway. 2.5 acres but it was less in the grass. You got a lot more than we did. It is beautiful when fresh. Turned a little sloppy afterwards.
Yes indeed. Houston area. City shut down yesterday. Schools closed Tuesday Wed. People up north laughing at us but crazy drivers even crazier when icy. Ready for Summer.
I'll never forget slowly driving down a snowy steep, winding road in Little Rock a few years ago. I was bare-knuckling it and trying to concentrate when a Dominos driver flew past me and my teenage son (at the time) chose that moment to call me to ask if I signed him for the SAT that weekend.
Just south of Houston in Galveston County. But not the island. Lifetime on this coast, BOI, and have learned, after a hurricane, it snows in the winter. Started noticing in '83 with Alicia. Weird
I was in Lubbock TX years ago for pilot training. We had a big snowstorm. The only ones out on the road were me and my fellow students. You could definitely tell the northern boys from the southern boys by their driving.
Please enjoy your rare experience of the beauty of each snowflake and each ice crystal! These crystals are amazing gifts from God and his physical laws. They can take your breath away! they are that amazing and amazingly beautiful!!
And thank "global warming"?!? for making it possible! HA!
And here in the upper Midwest we are begging for snow so it warms up! Woke up the last couple days to-7 temps and -30 windchills. Got hot today at 25 and got a dusting of snow for the first snow of the season. Stay warm frens

How much snow did y'all get?

Got about an inch in NE NC. A road construction grader came by and cleared the neighborhood......we're good.

Yeah, I forgot about some of the elevated exit ramps off I-10 yesterday. Most of the people down here have never driven in these conditions before
Yes. That’s the biggest problem. You can be careful but others won’t.

I didn’t realize that. I’ll have to look out for that. Thanks.
Me too PC
Here too, Gato. It's nineteen degrees by us.
My truck showed 19 on my driveway this morning. Still felt colder the night before with the ice and snow. Dryer air i guess.
Everyone stay safe!
It got down to 8 up here. Unusually cold, though we have cold winters every year with snow in the rockies.
edit - It was 8°F when we went to fire up the truck. The sun had been our for about an hour, so it was likely a bit colder just before dawn.
Me, too Gato! It's snowing at the beach! 🌊❄️
Trying to stay inside, don't want that happening to me...
We had 6" of snow..
I saw that! Mother and Father inlaw live in Galveston. Snow covered sand there too!
Sorry to our southern frogs. Please show as a "teachable moment" of HAARP!

Well if you get tired of the snow you can always come up to NE PA where the temp was 0 yesterday morning. It was -11 today when I left for work.
I'll pass! I require heat and humidity to survive! 😆

This Global warming is brutal!
Meanwhile in northern Europe snow won't stay on the ground for more than a week, one thaw after another.
missed it all here in central FL., but loving the unusual cool air
