Teach girls what they obviously want bad enough to go running to the Boy Scouts for. How to camp and fish and be competent at what their ancestral mothers did and Let the boys keep their high adventure and overcoming obstacles that are tailored for them and the girls the same. Additionally for the love of Mike keep them SEPARATE!!!! In addition to the obvious ( how long until THOSE stories come out) teens don’t function right in the presence of the opposite sex. The boys get braggy and obnoxious then careless and the girls get self conscious and shrink back or bossy and obnoxious then mean for the most part and neither get to learn about themselves or how to be part of a team.
In the Philippines the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts is Join, pay dues, buy uniform, have a scouting sleepover typically at a school, then see you next year.
Sad because it can actually be used to give kids a lot of skills and REAL confidence but that also requires real leadership and not cash cow corporates
The Boy Scout organization is dead, it may as well be buried. Boys, start a new group with biological males only. Build strong men, with skills, believing God and country. This is not being anti female as long as the motto and training builds respect for normal biological women. There are only two genders, but there is gender dysphoria and mental illness that needs to be addressed medically.
My nephews never finished boy scouts. It was turning creepy. Many people in many cities have started their own troop meet ups but not part of boy scouts. My neighbors group is good size. Move forward and leave them behind.
Imo, too many perverts in bsa - shut it down. Open local scouting clubs with vetted leaders, would not be interested in a co-ed operation or national oversight. Probably just me.

Two separate organizations using the same model. Excellent in theory and proper implementation. Give kids badges to show their accomplishments and link that to skills that strengthen them AND their communities. Use the outdoors as a teaching model and reward. Teach them teamwork by making certain skills dependent on the troop and develop leadership by making sure each scout has opportunities to lead. Tie all that to ethical commitment and civic duty. The Girl Scouts fell I think in the 90s when they openly embraced the teach girls to be CEOs and made cookie sales the center of the organization. What once funded camp outs became the purpose. Literally. The Boy Scouts started bleeding boys because of pedo scandals and the onslaught of more and more micromanagement by head councils. They constantly caved to any pushback from the left. This is their attempt to stop the bleeding. Bad call. On so many levels
