The entire movie is about a pair of sunglasses that lets humans see through the disguise that the psychopathic non-human aliens who run the world use to mingle, undetected, among us.
They Live is a powerful red pill and worth seeing. Not as epic a production as The Matrix, but . . . in some ways more direct. The bad guys aren't computer software but actual living beings.
Agree! This movie may be more basic for normies to understand than the matrix was! People flock to see these movies yet lack curiosity to question if this is what's really happening in real life! Sad to say but they are like NPCs!
"Rowdy" Roddy Piper's best lines in this movie weren't in the script.
They were from his personal notes--he carried a pen and notepad with him everywhere he went, in case a witty line he could use in pro wrestling came to him out of nowhere.
The legendary "bubble gum" line is one of these that he never got to use in wrestling.
Exactly! Such an eye opening scene... Even half the people here won't believe the truth until they see it. This movie is actually closer to reality than a lot of people can imagine in more ways than one.
For those who never saw They Live --

Yes, great meme. Wonder how many here know where this scene is from? I guess the older of us do...

Great film.
RIP Roddy Piper

Trump is fresh out of bubble gum.
🤣👍
One of the longest fight scenes in cinematic history isn't a fight scene but a metaphor
Either put on these sunglasses or starting eating that trash can!
So that's where the guy wearing sunglasses meme came from!
The movie is called "They Live". I highly recommend it
Thanks, I'll definitely check it out👌

I love that movie!
This is an awesome truth-telling movie.
Or a metaphor for trying to get your toddler to eat something you know they will love but refuses to even try.
Sorry Fren....IT WAS THE BEST FIGHT SCENE EVER! And I don't like watching fights. But, I agree it's about redpilling, "JUST PUT ON THE GLASSES!"
I've sent that clip of this scene to many people. As someone noted here, "So that's where the meme comes from."
We need a sequel. Same with Idiocracy.
he's rowdy roddy peeper!
Who knew at the time that this movie is a documentary?
