For the domestic audience, it looks like a strong protection of sovereignty, while giving a legal pathway offering permission for foreign (U.S.) military ops on Mexican soil. Looks to me like they're cooperating.
Upwards of 80% of ALL of Mexico's levels of Govt are on the Cartel take. Either thur legitimate or illegitimate business dealings, thru family business dealings, or thru outright corruption by way of bribes.
So tell us, how does this look like Sheinbaun, who only won election after about 32 other politicians running for Presidente died "mysteriously" or pulled out after family members were targeted by Cartels, is cooperating with Trump?
In what world or timeline does this look like the U.S. Govt would ever get permission to run officially sanctioned ops against the Cartels IN Mexico?
There is A LOT of research this board needs to do in order to get an accurate picture into the very complicated mess we're about to attempt to clean up.
You can start by heading to YT and look up Ironclad and their interviews and research into the Cartels. This is a way more complicated issue and way more complicated endeavor to undertake than what we embarked on in Iraq and Afghanistan.
How does anyone here suggest we handle the Cartels when they've been soending boat loads of money, time, and effort for this very moment, including employing former Green Berets, former Delta operators, and former Rangers to train them in urban combat, CQB, and unconventional warfare tactics, while we were busy killing pedophilic goat fuckers on two separate continents?

I'm well aware of the corruption in Mexico, which is everything but total.
I'm just saying that if you read the article, it shows that the proposals include a way for the Mexican government to coordinate US airstrikes and other US military actions inside Mexico and do it legally. As far as I know, this did not exist before, so it's a good sign.
If this is the purpose of the proposed constitutional changes, there's no way she could present it that way publicly without getting killed. Of course she would present it as strengthening Mexico's sovereignty.
I'm not a Sheinbaum shill by any stretch. I'm just reading what the article says, and explaining how I interpret it. And no, it won't be easy. But there were just articles about Mexican SF being trained by US soldiers. Must be for something, right?
Also, I expect the US to be cleaned up first. And Mexico to do most of the heavy lifting cleaning up their own country. They know they need it.
She has a choice. She stops the cartels, She allows the USA to stop the cartels or The USA takes over Mexico and then stops the cartels.
