It’s a step in the right direction but not a true victory until AFD is at the top. CDU will most likely invite SDP back to form a government with them and not AfD despite them coming in 2nd. Politically nothing much will change but at least the people are starting to wake up. Other European countries such as Denmark are still in a deep slumber 🫠
