DeSantis is a backstabber. He owes Trump for his Governor race victory's, and then desired to run against him in the primaries. If DeSantis had thrown his support for him in 2024 fully, he probably would have been the heir apparent.

DeSantis would have HAD to be informed of the disgusting FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago (which he obviously didn't prevent), as well as having the ability to prevent 'extradition' from FL to another state for all the bogus charges brought against Trump in Atlanta and NYC. Even if Trump would have rejected an intervention, DeSantis never even spoke up or offered to intervene on ANYTHING (at least that I recall).
