With Greenland I believe he really does want it. Makes sense for international security. Not just for US but Europe too. And we can’t count on the Danes military and their 12 sled dogs to protect that giant land from the east.
Trump will get Greenland. All he has to do is convince a majority of the voters it is in their best interest. There are only roughly 57,000 people, and Grok thinks there are between about 39k and 42k voters. They have self-governance and are legally allowed to leave Denmark and become an independent country.
If Trump could convince them to join us after voting for independence they could ally with us or vote to ask us to become a territory, and later at some point ask for statehood. The "ally" part is most likely in the short term.

As a rough estimate for the currencies generally used there we could compare it to the Israeli shekel (valued 28 US cents/$0.28) and consider that the money could effectively cover labor costs, with a good bit left over for building materials. Quite the deal- especially if further investments follow.

When I woke up, I thought it was a fever dream and then realized it actually happened lo.l. I knew he was intentionally trolling Arab nations and Hamas, but I'm low-key disappointed that it worked. Trump Gaza looked amazing. Would be cool to have Middle East vacation spot that is US owned
The AI Gaza video from last week was done for effect. Art for the deal indeed. Now, middle eastern countries are going to own and rebuild Gaza, not us. Israel gets nothing and middle eastern countries move in and take land. Israel hates this. Good.
