Rupert Murdoch newspaper, sensationalism, tabloidy stuff, with pics of bare chested ladies on page 3 (?)
I don't know how much I'd make of this.
"Will reportedly make a special offer..."
Kinda like the "According to unnamed sources familiar with the matter ... " by the New York Times.
I mean, would you take an article on US international policy by People Magazine seriously?
Wait to see what DJT comes up with. All this article really says is that there was a letter passed to DJT by the PM (standard protocol), and that DJT will (likely) visit the UK.
FWIW, you might want to put
TRUMP CARD! "The Sun Newspaper: King Charles to make.... "
Showing that the subject line is a quote, and not a fact. Coz it is not a fact in any semblance of the word, and shouldn't be treated as such.
I'm not sure that "The Sun" is a reputable source of information. To me it's sort of like The National Inquirer here in the US... sensationalist, sometimes-right-but-too-often-wrong stories, lots of celebrity "news" and so on. It would be interesting to see this story confirmed by other Brit outlets.
Yes, measured understatement. Having traveled widely in the British Isles, I've seen many an issue of "The Sun" and after a while, I simply stopped picking them up as I could get no useful news from them. Tabloidy... very much so.
If this is true, I welcome the US to the commonwealth of nations. It is just another chance for the country to show its power in sports as the TV rights alone will bring in more than enough money to help fund the games. Also, The US will be topping the medal stand if the country is at the 2026 games.
How arrogant is Charles? His family are Pedo Cannibales...
We have Canada by the short hairs over trade, His Royal Assholeness has nothing to offer...
I don't understand how this would benefit the US.
So let Canada continue to rip us off, and we get elite status to continue to be ripped off by Britain?
Probably trying to make some kind of deal to keep his brother’s name off of any Epstein revelations.
That's a possibility I hadn't considered.
Were they not getting the "King" ready for burial?
King to offer US to become a member of the commonwealth?
Well, that was unexpected. I figured the King was going to hand Canada over to Trump.
Who the hell would agree to that? What benefit? What costs?
If you read the article it says Trump thinks Starmer and the king are special and beautiful. I think this might be a BS paper.
The King cannot hand Canada over to anyone. Canada was signed into independence from Brittan by the Queen herself in 1982.
Also, the king has no official authority or power. He is only a figurehead, a pretty ugly and useless at that.
Bro, "The Sun".

Look how red and swollen his hands are and his little sausage fingers. His hands are so swelled up they look like they're gonna pop.

Measured understatement, or wry sarcasm?
Cos I think "reputable source of information" and The Sun are two phrases that never come into convergence.
It's a tabloidy type rag, that runs pics of bareshested ladies on page 3, afaik.
Me? I think this story is 97% garbage, and 3% real information.
A. Starmer passed an official royal invite to DJT, as per usual UK protocol.
B. Trump is expected to make a state visit to the UK.
I consider the rest pure garbage and great sensationalism fodder (hey, it sells, the papers, right?)
Yes, measured understatement. Having traveled widely in the British Isles, I've seen many an issue of "The Sun" and after a while, I simply stopped picking them up as I could get no useful news from them. Tabloidy... very much so.
Oh FFS, its the Sun spreading utter crud once more, it's only there to look at the pictures of page 3 trollops, thats all.
Ignore this, its nonsense.
Succinct, and accurate. Updoogle.
Does anyone remember the last time DJT visited the UK there was an assassination attempt that killed an SS agent? Or am I on a different timeline?
Yes, I believe it was in Edinburgh, someone poisoned their food. The SS agent could have been the food taster?
I thought it had to do with someone hang gliding into an area they didn''t belong. Never heard about the poisoning.
I think the concept of royalty is over and has been for a very long time.
"Trump thinks Starmer and the king are special and beautiful' Ohh, Yes vary special...
I'd like to see a pic of Trump poking King Sausages in the chest like LdR...

Why does "Commonwealth of Nations" sound like something profoundly communistic and loathsome, and another way to bleed the U$A dry
Fucking weirdos.
