Asymettrical tariffs (China always had high tariffs on us, we had $0 on them and China was even paying for shipping to the USA for random vendors which is why so many cheap things on Ebay etc had no shipping even though it should cost more than the actual purchase). They were waging economic warfare on us, and are faltering against equal treatment. Rising tariffs on us only hurts them more.
