New Details Emerge About Female Pilot Rebecca Lobach's Shocking Negligence Before Helicopter-Plane Collision Near DC's Reagan Ai...
New revelations about pilot Rebecca Lobach's actions prior to the tragic helicopter-plane collision near Reagan Airport shed light on the negligence that led to this catastrophic event, claiming numerous lives.
Do not tell me what to do.
"repeatedly ignored warnings from her male co-pilot to turn away but she flew right into the passenger jet"
I think we all knew she was in over her head. Maybe DEI-wise she bypassed a better pilot -- we will never know, but we know it cannot be ruled out.
Am I the only one who thinks this looks deliberate? Like a suicide bomber?
Trump-hating DEI hire. Ignored her male co-pilot's warnings. I'm also wondering if she was easily brainwashed into doing this act as a warning (to Trump?) from her controllers.
45 hours of flight time is not very much, especially for a captain. Army UHT is 150-200 hours. Working in the White House with some powerful connections. Somehow she was getting Blackhawk training in the DC area. An enlisted flight instructor for an officer?? Still, he should have taken the controls from her. Maybe he tried. She intentionally hit the airliner.
You know 64 souls is 8x8. The pope was 88. Think about it. Why new deets now?
Or, there was a faulty connection with her interphone and she didn't hear the co-pilot. There were indications that the communication from the ATC was not being heard.
She was probably playing Katie Perry or Taylor Swift in her headphones.
There was independent indication that she was not hearing the ATC operator. If she is not hearing her co-pilot, that would be consistent with a headphone fault. That's the thing about communication systems: you can't distinguish between a system fault and somebody not saying something.
But he was right next to her. She ignored earlier warnings, and then did not turn left for at least 15 seconds. Plenty of time for the guy to at least tap her on the shoulder.
So why didn't he? What reason would she have to ignore both the ATC and her co-pilot/instructor? This is where the magic mystery stories start.
Maybe he did.
That's where you went wrong. When a woman gets emotional at someone or about something, reason disappears. Emotions become "reason" to her, because the left and right hemispheres of the female brain are tightly interconnected.
She may have been mad at the guy for something, or disliked him, and then she didn't like how he said something or him telling her what to do. ("mansplaining", etc). Especially if it's "that time of the month".
Of course there's a percent of women who are not so much like that. But from what we know about this woman, she seemed to be very much that type.
Substitute the word "motive" if you will. Or "purpose." I was not referring to a process of formal logic. Everything one does is purposeful, one way or another, unless one is literally insane. (Because I am not a behaviorist, I do not use the word "cause.")
But this is all imaginary. What do we "know" about this woman that makes her into any kind of "type"? I haven't read any reporting about her personality or demeanor or behavior in duty.
What I remember having read:
1.) She worked directly for the Biden administration.
2.) Her social media was scrubbed before her name was released, implying from the former context that it was probably full of controversial leftist ideological posts.
3.) I think I read some other things supporting that, but it was a while ago now.
4.) Speaking from experience: she was a very feminine-looking young woman - didn't seem butch or lesbian or masculine in any way. Some women have things like hormone deficiencies/disorders, etc, that make them less prone to hormone cycle mental state changes. In my experience (and science backs this up), basically every very-feminine woman has major negative mood swings and personality/behavior changes, cyclically, especially in regards to how she feels and acts towards males (especially non-alpha males). So it's very plausible she was having a mood and felt negatively towards the male copilot/instructor.
ICS and radios are two different things. You may not have your radio on the correct frequency, but you will ALWAYS hear things over ICS.
But not if there is a fault in your headphones, which was my point.
Which you would signal and hand over controls of the aircraft.
And how would you know if there was a fault in your headphones? Is your cat being quiet outside...or has something eaten your cat? Can't tell.
Because you're in a high traffic area and hearing nothing on radios or ICS? You can't go more than 10 seconds without having SOMETHING come over them. Unless you're suggesting it suddenly happened right at the moment she needed to hear something.
It would have to happen at some moment. I've been present when light bulbs burn out. On one of the Apollo missions, the center engine of the first stage had a failure and was shut down. There was enough reserve performance in the other four engines that the boost continued successfully. (The von Braun Germans at Marshall Space Flight Center were somewhat derided as being "bridge builders" for their insistence on design margin. This was a vindication of their design philosophy.)
Would she have had enough flight time to attain the balance of being able to ignore the irrelevant chatter, but still be alert to meaningful messages? I have tinnitus and have adapted by tuning it out, so I sometimes don't "hear" things that are going on, even though physically I can actually hear them. But if she was aware, why was she inert? I don't buy into a plot just because it is popular. One could just as well say she was listening to Satan (and I don't buy into that one, either).
There might have been some instinctual-perceptural paralysis. The correct direction (turn left) was contrary to one's natural instinct to turn away from the other traffic. Turning left would feel like turning "into" the oncoming airplane. The gap was 15 seconds. I don't know if that feels like time running fast or slow in such an event.
I’m sorry. You should have led with the fact that you were president of her fan club and will blame everything else under the sun for her killing a shit ton of people other than her.
I spent almost 20 years of my life in those helicopters. As a maintainer and aircrew member. The aircraft didn’t fuck up. She did. And a lot of people paid the pics for it, including children.
But even after her death, she’s still got help having responsibility roll off her like water off a duck’s back.
I'm trying to find my fucking purse. I think it's in the back on the floor.
Another piece of this story you will never hear MSM report.
I knew it! Another DEI hire and was probably mad that trans and gays were to be released from the military, so shr thought she would go out with a bang. What was in the social media that was scrubbed? We have a rite to know.
