I hoped for a red head. My husband usually gets a few red hairs on his arms in summer. With brown & black hair parents it was hopeless. She was blonde until about four years old. I threaten him if I go totally gray I’ll dye it red. A guy I went to school with had the most beautiful auburn hair.
I have DARK HAIR on the sides and back and NONE on TOP!!! When I get out in the sunlight...the mood changes and that night...OOOOOH MY...SLEEP LIKE A BABY!!!!
Also, THE ONLY time I wear sunglasses is driving INTO THE SUN...that is all!!!!
There is something that can be said about wearing sun glasses all the time!!!
Do you mean melanin? If this was true, how come Australia still has the highest rates of skin cancer worldwide? (A bunch of white Europeans who were never adapted to Australian sun)
Toxic sunscreen is the reason for skin cancer, according to many awake doctors. There’s a lot nontoxic sunscreen brands available. Look for reef safe brands. I try to avoid artificial fragrances, unfortunately most clean brands have it. I only wear sunscreen if I’m going to be at the beach or pool for several hours. With the exception of my face. I get sun poisoning so I use it on my nose and lips.
I believe that. When I was little, I don't remember ever burning when my Dad would take me down to the beach. We didn't wear any kind of sun screen lotion.
My wife and I were talking about this a few days ago. We were laughing about all the crap that gets lugged down to the beach when we go now. Chairs, umbrella, cooler, snacks, drinks, games, radio, etc. When I was little, Dad I would just take a couple of towels to sit/lay on.
I once read when you get uv through the eyes, skin produce melatonin which helps the skin tan.
Me, a ginger, gave up wearing sunglasses at once and never got sunburned again.
Wow! I have dark Aurburn hair, rarely wear sunglasses or burn as well fren!
Hmmm, Joy must be very proud. Ginger kids are the most beautiful.❤️
Alas, my beloved Mamma is in Heaven but I believe she was proud and hopefully still is...☝️🪽✨🌌
I believe she always will be.❤️

Do you use zinc oxide? Grew up surfing and always used it on my nose...
Sun poisoning.. is it a horrible bumps and itchy rash type thing?
Yes, melanin. Melatonin is for a better sleep.
Melania... What a classy lady!
I know that's not what you're talking about, but I felt it hasn't been said for a little while.
Absolutely! Beauty inside & out! ✨
I wouldn’t be surprised if vision glasses are avoidable too. Have heard there are exercises you can do to avoid them.
I read about the Bates method a while back. Might be others out there to naturally improve your own eyesight.

As a kid, I would burn first, then brown up a bit.
