It contained 800 recipes referring to over 700 drugs which included Myrrh, Aloe, Castor Oil, Henbane, and more. I'd love to see that book! This information came from The Reader's Digest book "Magic and Medicine of Plants" page 51. There are dozens of cures for cancer. I have no doubt that Frankincense is one of them.

EDIT : So back to the question, technically Jesus created this place with supervision from his Father. The garden of Eden was defiled by satans infuence and the perfection of the design was lost. Mans sins transgressed and in the process weeds, illness and decline found its way into the lineage. By nature we had multigenerational sin, until Jesus came to remove the errors of Adam and Eve. Remove the Sin, the imprint. The gifts from the Wise Men included Frankinsense, healing componenets to help a baby born in an animals conditions and protect against an unclean environment ;-(

I found the "Essential Oils Ancient Medicine" (by Dr. Josh Axe, Ty Bollinger, Jordan Rubin) an interesting read. The book references different essential oils, oils used in biblical times, and which to apply to various ailments. (Frankincense, Myrrh, etc is included). Also a great introduction study to the oils in the bible. Easy read, and easy layout to use as a reference book.

I ordered the book "Healing Oils of the Bible" by David Stewart Ph.D. I have not read it yet. I just did a search and it was one of the books that came up, so I purchased it to add to my library. I hope to read and do an in depth study this summer.

I have used Frankincense oil for some time for various health supports. When I first read about it years ago, I immediately thought of the birth of Christ and knew it was a provided and God-ordained health-promoting option. It has made noted improvements/healing in the health aspects I have chosen to utilize it.
