I have personally seen the potential of grounding therapy to work against inflammation. You can absolutely invest a huge sum into grounding mats etc but the easiest and sometimes most effective method is to put your bare feet on the ground or lie on the earth. Obviously use common sense. Places where water crashes stirs up the electrons and seems to have a bigger affect. Someone here posted about creating their own grounding wire attached to a tent stake which helped them. Again use common sense ( thunderstorms bugs etc) this is a link to a documentary on grounding that began our journey with this as a pain therapy for my son. It has helped him and is one of the things we have used that actually helped in the complex fight for his health.
I believe God designed us to heal and if we can work with our bodies instead of against them many of the man made assaults on our bodies can be helped. I am not certain of the other claims but I do know his inflammation and pain improved and his numbers got better overall

Ugh chiggers!! We have used grounding mats and they do work just not as well but in a pinch they were effective. We used a smaller less expensive runner type and I think it worked about as well as the bigger bed one we were able to purchase later
Ya, wifey and I look pretty silly sitting in the sun barefoot in 50F degree weather with our coats on. Feel a tickle in your throat? Sniffles? "Get outside now!" I think the kids might be close to putting us in a home. kek
A few hours in the river does it for me. It's amazing how much better I feel for a few days after that. I'll just sit down and the water is at my shoulders, bury my feet in the sand on downstream side and just sit there. It's therapeutic. It sounds odd I know, but I'm always there with friends and just hanging out. As you said, common sense. This river has been know to take the lives of several people, don't go alone. And don't go into the river shit faced drunk..... or when the water is really up. Anyway, yea. It works.
I think this probably is a reason we are so drawn to wade at the waters shore - lake, river, ocean. We are attracted not just because it's pretty, but we are a part of it.
I use a static strap (for PC repair) and then jack into an extension cord. Get an outlet tester ($10, amazon) to make sure your outlet is wired right, sometimes ground and neutral get reversed.

I am glad you know about grounding for your son. I live where there's lots of chiggers so hard for me.

We did not have that when I was in the NW.
Scratch em till ya bleed... so much fun!
...And ticks...
Yeah, I know about it now. B4, I didn't even know what hit me.
They're both spawn of the devil...
Lyme, Connecticut is the first landfall from Plum Island...
A big "Thank You!" to all you southern folks for reminding me that hypothermia threats still going into June isn't necessarily a bad thing! 😄😄🥶🥶🥶😁😁
Folks down south gotta watch them "far ants" (in some regions of northern Mississippi, they're known as "far aunts") 🤣🤣🤣
True leather souls on your shoes works just the same.
Thanks. I will go search.
Texas?
Let me know how you feel about them I have been wondering
They make lesser expensive grounding “inserts”.
Depending on where you live, a portable chicken coop can quickly knock down ticks, fleas and chiggers.
Letting them free-range will let them cover a larger area to clean up your yard. They deposit free fertilizer also!
My dogs will eat them. Yeah, not happening.
Great idea wish I could have a chicken tractor. Wish I could have chickens or guard geese. I miss the country life
I wish they seat stickers.

I’ve never considered why I feel so damn good after a day at the river, live in Texas so it’s the good’ol Guadalupe!
Guadalupe River, Tx
Guadalupe River! Long time ago! Would love to see it again one of these days.
Beautiful river and scenery.

Nice great tip
Cheap and easy.
