Basically Donald Trump is a very popular person and is in the limelight due to his real estate business and other ventures. I think what put him in the national spotlight was his antitrust lawsuit against the NFL. From there it just ballooned to where Trump became a national celebrity. It resulted in Trump getting his own show. If Donald Trump was a child rapist, it would have come out before that and he would have never been able to run for President or derail his run for the office.
The media has built up people only to tear them down before. But the only thing they were able to do was get President Trump on his divorce. Then we have Trump's "Grab them by the Pussy" comments resurfacing in 2016. If he truly raped a child, it would have come out during the 2016 election. Instead, all we get was E. Jean Carroll and her report that Trump raped her even though it isn't true.
