Sadly he said "No" but with good reason. He told me frankly that the state would start asking questions as he had to justify prescribing it in the past for patients with rashes. He wasn't willing to risk seeing 5,000 people annually and providing more-informed care to someone with an overzealous medical oversight agenda. He said during the peak of covid he tried to prescribe some Hydroxychloroquine and the pharmacy refused and called the some medical authority on him.
He knew America's Frontline Doctors off the top of his head and encouraged me to follow their suggestions on how to get a script.
I've got the horse paste and Fenben here at home, I was just hoping for a more legitimate means to use it without looking more like a far-right kook.
Very disturbing that 1) legislators purport to tell (hopefully) trained medical professionals how to practice medicine and 2) when they do so, their legislation calls out an arbitrary number that, in this case, could potentially cause him to lose his license for providing medical assistance and conclusions to a mere 0.1% of his patient base.
