Just want to take a quick moment to shout out my fellow users who are old enough to remember the 2004 Presidential election, where we had the "freedom" to choose between two simply RIVETING EXCITING candidates, W. Bush and John Kerry!

Maaaaannn.... thinking back to those days makes you really appreciate what Trump has done for the country and for U.S. politics in general. Its impossible to describe or measure, truly.
The "political climate" of those days is hard to describe if you weren't there. The levels of built-in cynicism and apathy were practically off the charts. People in line to vote had on faces like they were going in for a root canal. Mostly folks went to vote so they could get the day off work.
Anyhow... the fun happenings of the time included W. Bush dodging a couple of projectile shoes and the "don't taze me bro" guy at a Kerry event.
There was also a website some guy made around that time called (and I kid you not!)
I can't remember if it was "douchebag" or just "douche" anymore, but, no bullshit, this website really existed. Wonder if any others here remember it and can confirm.
Sheesh! We have come SUCH a long way from that bullshit. You have to be grateful for Trump, warts be damned, he couldn't be as shitty as the candidates from that era if he tried LOL.
