I have a picture with him. He was sitting next to me on a plane ride from Vegas a few years ago.
I remember being surprised he wasn't getting annoyed being bothered every 60 seconds by someone asking for a picture or autograph.
Unlike many famous people, he really enjoyed his fans but didn't seem to let the attention go to his head.

I remember when he wrestled in the territory days pre-WWF as Sterling Golden, a potential monster heel with little to no wrestling ability. He relied on pure size and strength to bully jobbers. He wasn't around long, just a few weeks, not enough time to get into a feud with Tony Atlas or Stan Hansen or anyone.
