But not on bills. Hence - they're called non-voting members. Like Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC). She loves introducing bills - especially ones that remove statues of Confederate soldiers, or renaming things with Confederate names. She can't vote though.
President Trump and his voters deserve reparations for the election fraud, lawfare and Treason. They obstructed and stole his duly elected terms as President. They also wrongly indicted him on false charges. We are owed.
Good point. I think the topic of a 3rd term for Trump is being brought up ever so often so that the term limits gets addressed in the future in that it might be brought before the Supreme Court to rule. It seems inequitable that the legislative and judicial have no limits to years of service and yet the executive does, even though POTUS is the only elected position that is voted on by the entire nation.
Have the congress critters been limited as to the number of terms they can serve? No, if they win the election they get to serve another term. Are the justices limited to the number of years they can serve? No, they either step down voluntarily or die while in office. The branches are supposed to be equal and separate. Limiting the elected official of the executive branch is not equal. Up until FDR, the president could serve unlimited number of terms as long as he/she was elected to the position. Or did you not know that FDR served 4 consecutive terms?
So either the Congress critters, who EACH serve INDIVIDUAL terms need term limits and the INDIVIDUAL justices need to be limited to the number of years served OR the executive branch gets unlimited terms LIKE IT USED TO BE in the Constitution. Amendments can be removed just like they were added.
We already had Obama’s third term. He had his pit crew running Biden’s White House. I guess you missed that PSA because you were watching The View. Actually, I’m rooting for term limits. We don’t need anymore Pelosi’s or McConnell’s or Joe Biden’s. I guess you missed that from my first statement.

Term limits on the President was one of the ways the deep state has snuck in and stolen power from the people. The President is the only position in the country that every citizen can vote. and it is also the only position that has been limited. That needs to be addressed and citizens need to understand how these scumbags are stealing their power.
Given how America was structured at the time the Constitution was written. I would hazard a guess the assumption was Congress would largely be made up of the crème of the crop of the Wealthy American Elite more often than not. Not today’s gaggle of Morons.
Given the founders to a man were Southern Gentry, Doctors, Lawyers, Merchants etc. So it would seem pointless to needlessly restrict their classes own power and authority.
And the Supreme Court was structured to keep it from becoming ironically what the Presidency turned into. A giant goal to strive for so the new person can spend the entirety of their term undoing the efforts of the previous incumbent.
Though truth be told Congress has had an abysmal track record since its inception in actually doing anything for the good of the country. So perhaps some restructuring of the Legislative and Judiciary is in order.
To crib a line from Trump: We don't need a new Constitutional order; we just need a new voting population. Politics is the ultimate demonstration of Garbage In = Garbage Out. If the people don't get their heads out of their asses, no Constitutional tinkering will make a difference. (Though reverting to the original selection of Senators would make sense.)
Nice meme.
Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are already ahead of Kim Jong Un. I think Nancy outlasted his dad Kim Jong Il, but who's counting?
Don’t forget about Joe!
Consider the Dingel family in Michigan where 3 members of the same family held the same Congressional seat for almost 100 years. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/dingell-family-office-90-years-locals-praise-pavement-pounding-critics-say-indicts-incumbency
I guess that's why they are quick to mix up and change the names now. Wow: I heard about the Pelosi family, but never heard about the Dingel mafia.

As you like to say - re-read what I wrote. Neither of those are voting ON THE BILL.
Committee of the Whole - This procedure allows for more flexible debate, amendments, and consideration of details before a formal vote.

He'll be King
In Revelation:
"And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron..."
Great point!
