Just buy the old-school strains. My friend does Durban Poison and other strains from back before they started concentrating on THC only. Much more mellow buzz when the buds have as much CBD as THC. It's a lot healthier to know your strain and grower. I give him all my fish heads for nitrogen, use compost teas, worm castings and various other natural methods.
If you buy from a dispensary you don't know if they did a bad hydro set up and didn't flush properly. Same deal with food, I buy pork from my neighbor who feeds them and cares for them in ideal conditions. Everyone knows farm fresh eggs are better, it's no different than the bag of weed you buy.
Your second point is my biggest complaint about the delta 8 & 9 that they have made legal in many places around the country. You have no idea what else is in those products. They could contain Fentanyl and you'd never know it until it killed you.
I think that we need to make sure that THC products are not available for kids to use on accident or for recreation. I have no problem with adults using THC, but I strongly encourage even adults to avoid these new THC products that are not made of real marijuana.
When I was a teen in the 80s, I could get weed from friends at school quite easily. Getting alcohol however, was very hard to get my hands on. My kids that graduated HS in the 20-teens said that it was the same for them. IMO, we should make sure that children/teens don't have easy access to either and adults have the freedom to do as they choose.
BTW, I was very impressed with your knowledge in your original post. You've clearly done your homework on this topic. Thanks for sharing.
IMO, allowing dispensaries just invites organized crime. I simply want them to let adults grow it themselves with some reasonable limits and make them accountable if they let our youth get hold of it.
I am all about leaving people alone , let them make their own decisions and how about getting used to people making their own decisions even if they mess up. The GOV is not supposed to fix people or their decision making. Don't like it, just say no. Simple.
I believe the raw plant product should be fully legal. Gummies... Thats another story. The Hemp act was a great first step in undermining state monopolies on cannabis. Thank you Donald Trump! But, we need the Federal government to take its filthy claws off of our favorite plant!
However, you're not getting enough love for this post. It's excellent, and I can relate to everything you wrote, including the fact adding CBD flower to a blend made those symptoms vanish for me. I was pretty amazed, but right when I made this discovery, God led me in a different direction. 👉👍😎
I just like a little buzz occasionally so no opinion on your post. 😁

In addition, Marijauna alone does not cause death.

For every reason you hear it's bad, there's a plethora of reasons it's good. Decriminalization is the best way forward IMO.

I don't care if you smoke it...
Just STOP smoking and driving on my roads.
I don't want a contact high on the way to a job...
You hear me 3rd shift!? What you too good for Pabst Blue Ribbon now?
No gov't source can be trusted regarding any information about weed. History is long, and It simply is not in their DNA.

Don't smoke!
I rarely, and these days if ever, smoke....

Don't bother with all that, just buy or grow Indica and leave the sativa alone.
Further to that, don't buy CBD made from sativa.
