Books are obsolete and the amount of books a person reads in a year is inconsequential and not an indicator of intellectual prowess. That's my point, more simply.
No. My point is that people who talk about the importance of reading books (as superior to other media formats) are usually stupid. These are usually the people who want trannys to read to kids in libraries. They are invariably liberal. They think libraries are sacred places despite the fact that libraries are purging their collections all over the country, via their Book Sale events.
"Book people" are often the stupidest people. If you know someone who always has their face in a book, you probably already know this. Information is all that matters. It does not matter how you get that information. Of course, the ability to read is very important. Reading comprehension is also far more important than what form of media you are reading (whether books or articles online).

Someone posted something very similar about a week ago and the consensus was that it was not the EBS, but a TV color test pattern. Maybe those two things ARE related...
