Interesting its called rhat. Im reading a very good book called: AMERICA The Biblical Foundation Revealed. By thomas Jenkinson. Probably the best book ive read on the subject. If you liked the books marshall wrote like the light and the glory you will definately enjoy this read. It is very well cited amd layed out.
There is a large section about tje pilgrims and how they lived accoeding to the bible. Much of it is priven by the words of the pilgrims themselves. Prayer was everything.

Forgive yourself, others, life and God.
Recognize the omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent power of God and unite with it. ''I and my father are one''
Accept that what you are praying for is ALREADY done. ''Believe that you have it and you shall receive it''
