Oversight Committee Releases Epstein Records Provided by the Department of Justice
WASHINGTON—Today, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform released 33,295 pages of Epstein-related records that were provided by the U.S. Department of Justice. On August 5, Chairman Comer issued a subpoena for records related to Mr. Jeffrey Epstein, and the Department of Justice has indicated it will continue producing those records while ensuring the redaction of victim identities and any child sexual abuse material.
Sounds like this a repeat of last time, most of the documents were previously released or public materials with a very small amount of new material. A few new flight logs and lots of redactions.
Yup massive yawn. If the Epstein saga can’t be revealed until Israel is dealt with then don’t release anything it just destroys credibility.
The optics towards the public on this issue have been nothing but terrible and I don’t care if that is “dooming”. Get off this site and X and go actually talk to people about it. They all think it’s a joke.
That's why I said years ago, the longer we stay in the optics route, the less credible it will become and more people begin to check out via "the boy who cried wolf."
You can only throw out the same stuff over and over, with little change, for so many years before people have had enough and just move on.
I still trust the plan, but if we're still playing optics, we have way more to go still.

No idea on that. I can speculate that the House website might not be able to handle the large amount of bandwidth when people are downloading everything, but I don't know.
Well I do now. I did a google search: "why were the new Epstein files posted to google drive instead of the House server?" and the response is below.
The recent batch of Epstein-related files was posted to a Google Drive by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee because the files were provided to the committee by the Department of Justice
. The House committee, not the Department of Justice, was responsible for making the documents public. The release was intended to provide transparency, though many of the documents were already publicly known.
The Oversight Committee chose a third-party platform like Google Drive for the following reasons:
Ease and speed of distribution: Using Google Drive allows for the quick upload of a large volume of files (in this case, 33,295 pages) without having to rely on slower, potentially more restrictive government servers.
Overcoming technical limitations: Government websites and servers are not always equipped to handle the large traffic volume that can occur with a highly anticipated public file release. Using a widely accessible commercial service avoids potential performance issues.
Circumventing typical government disclosure processes: This method of release bypasses the need for the DOJ to officially release the files to the public, which could involve lengthier bureaucratic procedures.
While the committee framed the release as a move for transparency, it was met with criticism from Democrats on the committee. Representative Robert Garcia called the release "a spectacle of releasing already-public documents," saying that over 97% of the material was already available. Democrats accuse Republicans of using the release to deflect from a bipartisan push for more complete disclosure of the Epstein case.
if there is anything good.....we will see it here about 25 times

Agreed. All this has done is destroy the administrations credibility
Not to be contrarian, but name any info that has been released since 20 Jan 2025 that you did not already know?
Our patriot movement has been on top of all this for a long long time.
I'm not much of a digger. I spread the word in my orbit.
We want Names
Nope, WE want arrests. Thru those we get names. Names mean there's no ongoing investigation.
Yup I want arrests and mass deportations of illegals and H1-B’s.
I don't know, Names by themselves could lead to vigilante justice...
Bingo
Lots of deleted comments. Is that you, Hillary?

Love you, Brother.❤️🤗
Mutual man... 🙏🏻
Why is a sitting congressperson posting a google drive link?
She just posted the URL - the House Oversight Committee posted it to Google Drive.
Yeah but why is the house oversight committee posting official federal documents to Google Drive instead of a .gov site?
The only reason I can think of is to get peoples’ Google credentials instead of just an IP.
No idea on that. I can speculate that the House website might not be able to handle the large amount of bandwidth when people are downloading everything, but I don't know.

likely scrubbed
I saw lefties losing it saying Trump is threatening the release of these docs as a “hostile act” — is there any truth to that?
