We did not put this in place.
I had the same problem yesterday without a VPN but my VPN got me back in. Today I rebooted my router to get a different IP address and that fixed it without needing the VPN.
So I recommend that everyone without a fixed IP address try rebooting their router.

This is the most likely explanation.
I’m going to say it was DNS. The vpn like would get around DNS but a router reboot or upstream DNS update would fix this.

This made me take a Proton VPN, first the free option, but then I realized the 100$ for 2 years, then 80$ a year was quite cheap given it covers10 devices, has a built in ad and tracker protection…
Same goes for Iceland, which I use a lot to get round the UK's draconian internet rules. The UK blocks a lot of sites and make you sign in to YT. Reeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I use a VPN sometimes and switched to Private Internet Access (PIA) since it has a native Linux app and it was a good price for 2 years. You can probably find a code online to get a discount for the initial sign up by looking at reviews. https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/
Research PIA a little bit. I know they have had issues in the past and are usually not recommended by security companies. I do know they hired Mark Karpeles as the CTO. He ran Mt. Gox back in 2014 when they went under and 600,000 Bitcoins "disappeared". He was convicted of tampering with financial records by Japan, but nobody knows where 600,000 BTC are... Great guy to hire for a security company.
The only other issue I remember is PIA is based in the USA - which means the govt can compel them to keep logs on anyone they want. Even though they say they don't keep logs, they are subject to wiretap laws. Keep that in mind if you are into torrenting.

I’ve been blocked for four days in Spain, I had to move here to look after my mother, past posts may shed light on why, he didn’t make it. Some Clowdfaire security warning for days. I’ve been dealing with this shit since the seventh Q drop. I normally lurk but have recently recruited two individuals massively MAGA who are now here and learning fast, but they have hard working lives and tend to years of history to catch up on.

I'm in the US but if I set my VPN to any European location it still allows me to view the page, both when I'm logged in or not. That just seems interesting to me since usually known VPN IP addresses are the first to be blocked.
If people are still looking for a VPN to use I'd really recommend Mullvad, they are cheap and very privacy focused.
I think to get any definite information about issue it's going to have to come from the .win admins as this kinda stuff is outside of the moderators control from what I can tell. It would be interesting to know if the other .win communities like conspiracies.win also block international users, that would certainly show if it was a site wide issue or not but I don't seem to be able to replicate any issues from my end

Well I was going to point out that greatwakening.win doesn't exist. but with the screenshot, the statement doesn't work. With taht said, one could just use TOR. Honestly I'm surprised that communities.win doesn't run an .onion.
