A gentleman wouldn't do anything, esp in front of his kid- bad situation for him...

Agree with you to a degree and also agree with u/Flowers_for_Alger/. I'm a man and I wouldn't cause a scene in front of my kid. If I were to act like a whackadoodle Karen in front of my son, that would be damaging and ruin the experience for him probably more than losing a ball would. We don't know what this woman said or just how severe her insanity is. The father at least took the high road and the kid was rewarded after the game with memorabilia far more valuable. All this Karen got was a fairly worthless used baseball and Internet infamy.
Some battles aren't worth fighting. And a gentleman does stand up for himself and his family over something that matters. I'm sure the results would've been different had the Karen tried to assault the kid. When you're dealing with crazy Karens, they'll get their just due as this one will no doubt if she hasn't already.

good question...i kinda think he set a good example for his son, to avoid a total escalation/brawl cuz this bitch wasnt gonna stop...i could see her poking dad in the chest, then him poking her back and she would cry foul, sue him, etc...as it ended up, this dad/kid got a ton of great things afterwards, including an RV, i think...this karen wanted a full-blown escalation, and dad didn't play into it...showed great restraint on his part, imo, and taught the kid a lesson he will never forget...
All he taught the kid is to back down whenever a Karen make demands....regardless of whether they have merit.
Strong men show restraint when weak people try to escalate a situation over trivial issues. After all, the strong did win the day, kid and dad got a ton of pretty non trivial items and the weak Karen got a ball that will forever identify her as a lunatic bitch.

People like her are never embarrassed or shamed because they believe they are right and everyone else is wrong. If that is her husband, he is weak. I would think he would run far, far away. But then again, maybe she supports him.
The dad's initial reaction after she yelled at him made me think he is a first class p#$$y. He was actually scared of her and it showed on his face. Yea he probably did the right thing by not escalating the situation, but at the same time it was no place to become a wilting lily, either. I guess he didn't have a strong father in his life to show him how to treat a lady in different situations. She was wrong in confronting him like that, too. Lots to be gleaned from this short vide. I hope it helps others in the future to never underestimate what people are capable of.

"how to treat a LADY"... what i saw was NO LADY, no manners, looked more like lib rage against a white male, and bully to a kid...the dad was in a conundrum, imo...yes, took the path of least resistance, and yet that's not a weakness, as the bible tells us to "turn the other cheek"...this bitch was looking for her 15 minutes of fame, and she got it, but probably not how she wished it to turn out now that she's the subject of ridicule...she's probably wearing that as a badge of honor now, however, in her mind and whatever community she's part of...complicated issue,imo
