Sometimes random crime is just random crime. I’ve got no doubt it may be being highlighted and pushed to forefront. Because it’s convenient and they were hoping for sound bites or something to take out of context. Young White Girl in the prime of her life being brutally murdered while we can watch her bleed out on security feeds. Better story emotionally than clinical reporting on the White Veterinary Professor hacked to death while walking her dog in a park. Or the retail clerk murdered in a robbery.
The news stories of White People being murdered and violently attacked by non-white people for simply existing are a dime a dozen. It’s not like it’s a one off they’d have to go out of their way to engineer. And it’s not like it would do much to sabotage any operations in the shithole that is Chicago. Most people are used to the violence stats coming out of it. And the corruption.
And those posters are probably on the walls of a lot of 20 something White Women. Because that’s the current trendy social fashion for them.

But having a BLM Poster doesn’t denote membership and those posters are fairly generic early 20s Gen Z White Girl decor at this point. As it’s a fashion statement about fashionable liberal college politics as much as anything else.
Also what would their benefit be in staging this? As again it’s not like there’s any shortage of random violence like this these days to stir up racial animosity. Which would render this moot if that was the objective in staging it.
And if the goal was financial and fundraising piles of money. That generally only works if you can warp the event to suit your narrative. And it’s exceedingly difficult if you have functional brain cells to twist the video of Black Dude stabbing a white girl to death unprovoked and her bleeding out in a way to paint him as the victim and her as a racist.
The only conceivable and readily obvious benefit from my view would be political in the form of soundbytes from Trump that could be taken out of context. And even then that tactic is not particularly effective anymore.
But your perspective could include factors I hadn’t considered in my evaluation. And just because I can’t see any benefit. Also doesn’t mean there isn’t one not readily obvious.

Every time I have a bad experience with a black American and start making blanket assumptions, God sends a good person who happens to be black my way. Yeah, I grew up in the 60's and 70's and when a black family moved into our neighborhood, we all played together. Same with the Koreans, although they had a strong garlic smell. lol
My grandparents watched the news and did not converse on any issues, including race. I went to a great Baptist church that was named Friendship Baptist Church, which taught us the " Jesus loves the little children" song.

My frustration with the race issue. Is that we still have too many people who actually think it's organic.
Let's think about this logically.
Do young kids care about race? I would say no. It's not until they are "taught" about it.
So by default. God never programmed us to care about it that much.
