If something was thwarted and the escalator "malfunction" played a part in it, Hallelujah! It's been a very busy week for Trump with a lot of travel and speeches/appearances. Really wish he'd lay low for a bit. He can continue his winning ways directly from the WH.
I can't imagine why his security detail didn't immediately escort him out of the building. That kind of meeting can always be rescheduled. The UN doesn't do anything useful anyway.
Likely, attempts are on-going and likely approaching triple digits now(the most frequent ones seem to be poisoning attempts, only a day or two ago one of his 'tasters' got violently ill after checking something intended for Trump...).
