A girl I've known for 20+ years sent me a text the other day saying she'd been doing some "soul searching" for a while and she had something she had to tell me.
I was like, " OK, not much I haven't heard these days from people I know, so fire away.."
She's married and has a son by her first husband. When we first met, I like her but something told me not to and to keep my distance. We've stayed friends over the yeas and she live pretty far away. I'm actually fairly close with her family still.
She confessed a few things to me that didn't really come as a surprise as she's heavy into the "gummies" nowadays. and it's like being drunk and spilling things one wouldn't normally let out. But this one threw me.
She told me she was a witch... Specifically, a chaos witch. I didn't know there were different varieties. But apparently I was wrong. She had been putting curses on people she didn't like. I told her if it made her happy then do it. Not that I buy into all of that, but it's a good thing I have the full armor of God.
Then I got to thinking back to the Loonie Toons cartoons with the old hag of a witch who hadn't done spells in a while, making mistakes, turning things into ridiculous objects or animals. That's what I envisioned. I got a pretty good chuckle out of it. But of course she lives in CO so I wasn't surprised. I could see her in one of these crowds at some point.
Curses, like prayer (don't hate on me), can have real power..BUT the power doesn't come from just going through the motions which is what that looks like (public spectacle). It comes from contemplation, concentration and fully comes to power with conscious intent.
Looking back at my younger days, there were times of seething hatred towards others that did me wrong, focused and meditated on their demise with venimous intent... nothing happened to them...but my one hand filled up with shit.
First off -- Chicago has an ordinance against setting fires. If people can't burn leaves in fall -- I don't see why these clowns aren't being ticketed for their bonfire. Jumping around doesn't make it any less illegal. So whoever filmed these idiots should have called the cops and.demanded the law be enforced.
