I think it goes beyond that. It shows that he never had any intentions of actually completing the building. Nothing more deposited into the endowment since the initial $1M over 7 yrs ago. Not only that but if you factor in inflation and the rising costs for permits, construction materials, and labor, that initial deposit is now worth about half of what it was in 2018.
Seems to me that all he and his husband ever planned to do was cut and run. If it was any other name than a cabalite, they'd be in court already for fraud, if not already sentenced and in jail.
I read a couple of days ago that he was funneling the money to a dark money group or PAC or political entity. I’m not remembering how the article worded it.

In 2022 and 2023, the Obama Foundation handed over $2 million to Tides, a group best known for serving as a clearinghouse for radical left-wing causes and for shielding donor identities. It should come as no surprise that George Soros heavily backs Tides, and Tides is directly tied to groups organizing anti-Israel protests. That includes demonstrations against the Jewish state in the aftermath of the Oct. 7 Hamas atrocities. In other words, donations made in the name of funding a presidential library are now helping bankroll organizations promoting antisemitic activism under the guise of social justice. Well if he'd put the cash into a fund that would actually pay the construction bills, then I doubt he'd be begging for some cash inflows from the American tax payer. Get a life Barry, and stop shaking average Americans down.
