Lived in TN all my life, never set foot in Memphis. Few people I know have. Crime was that bad even in the 90's.

People arrested for violent crimes should be given a choice - you can go to jail for a long time or we will deport you to your country of ethnic origin and you’re not allowed back in
Sending them home without punishment would encourage them to try to sneak in illegally again. Better plan, send them to a prison in El Salvador or other country.
