I made it 15 minutes, and only that because I had ordered food. I ate my wings as fast as I possibly could and got the fuck out of there. It was a date night, and while my fiancé was disappointed, she understood. This was the day the ICE protestors swarmed an agent vehicle with 10 cars and people were shot. As far as I'm concerned, the producers, director, and actors should be charged with incitement. Bring back the McCarthy house committee on unAmerican activities.
In that 'Civil War' movie last year, the military that got rid of the 'no it's definitely not meant to be Trump' president was named 'Western Forces', ie WF for short. What - or rather who - does 'WF' sound like when you say it aloud?
I have never been able to watch any movie for decades now that I do not see propaganda. Me and my kids will talk about it. The wife only reads/listens to books now.
Heh, they are totally propaganda and always have been, same with all the awards shows for movies and music. I learned early on that, most the movies they gave a high score for, I had no interest in.. Usually went with Audience score, if I wasn't sure if it was worth a sit through, they were more spot on to what I would actually care to watch. As well, I have never been one to sit around excited about an award show, always disappointing and as far as music, nothing I pref listening to were ever even nominated let alone win something.
Casablanca, for as good as it was, had to be approved by the government before release. It was meant to get Americans fired up about getting involved in another war. When you watch it knowing what it was all about, it’s a totally different experience. It was still a great movie, but definitely had an agenda.
I pretty much stopped going to movies after high school because most movies were all about "action" and special effects that had no interesting story to tell or sensible plot. Years later I was drawn back and the last two movies I watched in a movie theatre was DiCaprio's "Titanic" and "The Aviator" (about Howard Hughes). I'm not sure what the propaganda angle was but perhaps to cover establishing the Federal Reserve using murder with a love story (Titanic) and to glorify a former CIA asset HH (The Aviator).
People spout the adage that "politics is downstream of the culture" without a clue that that phrase came from the deep state. It has been their marching orders for over 60 years. The deepstate has wrecked music, movies, Late-night talk shows, comedy, political cartoons, etc. to control politics. Freeing the culture is overdue and will be a new golden age.
Such a shame as Paul Thomas Anderson is, but now was, one of my favorite directors. One of yet another reason to not watch movies today, as I've stopped watching movies since 2016 and I loved watching movies. I could remember a lot of actors/actresses, directors, cinematographers and many more.
Nowadays? I keep snapping my fingers when I'm trying to recall a popular actor/actress, which is unlikely for me to do that. Yeah it's the Great Purge of toxicity from my brain.
(They) just can't help themselves, it's the only script they have...plus, in movies, (they) can present a false reality of their own making and present it as art, protected by the First Amendment. I don't doubt the film will make its investment costs back and then some, there are enough lunatics running around who will go see such drivel.
“Rotten Tomatoes goes full woke propaganda pushing” and gave the movie “98% on Rotten Tomatoes”

Wow straight up propaganda!
that’s odd… i was told by the media last week that antifa doesn’t exist
Just an idea.

I recommend everyone read the Bret Easton Ellis critical opinion of this film-he absolutely nailed what's going on.

I love Bret Easton Ellis!
One of my favorites
Every single TV show and movie is a program.
They're literally trying to shape perception in the ongoing war for control of the narrative.

Rotten tomatoes isn't impartial, pretty sure they're all (far?) left leaning
Edit: we need maybe our own film review source
