See "Exceptions" part, Sec. 3 (a) (iii). Non-career SES people are usually political apointees or people with specific expertise, and they can be easily dismissed.
yes, the senior executive service, which falls under the federal civilian position, so yeah, it does apply. Fire them because of the shutdown and then don’t rehire anyone to replace them. Trump wanted to get rid of them in his first term.
Good to know. I am currently looking for an accounting job, I had a job, but my boss was abusive ( he stole practically my identity) and I quit so now I have a job that doesn’t pay much, I am ok with it because at least it is something that God is giving me. We have to be thankful all the time for what we have. God bless.
I am surprised that they let it go this long...
It means that the people from the Dept of Education would have gotten preferential selection for open positions in other agencies.
Whether those people were classified as probationary in their new roles I don't know.

Closing the Displaced Federal Employee Priority window.
The...Senior Executive Service?
Forgive me, but I fail to see how this applies, and I don't see anything else that fits.

Bro drops EO's like that Swifty ho drops singles.
Except his words carry weight and are worth reading ;)
So if I have purple hair and change my gender they won't rehire me?
Hello Tetartos, what does that mean? Can you explain that? I understood that the job will not be opened again? Even if it is vacated?

Thank you Tetartos and God bless you too.

O HAPPY DAY! 🎉🙏
🥂
Should be its own post - amazing
This Trump fellow is actually reducing the size of govt as if it were a company - almost as if he were a successful businessman or something
Kek.
Indeed, that loop-hole needs closing.
Thank you God bless
Am I experiencing Dejavu? Didn’t this thread of comments exist on another post previously?
Well that closes the "Displaced Federal Employee" loophole...
I waa wondering how they would do that.

The Postal Service is hiring and all you need is a pulse.
I can’t lift 70 pounds or more, I passed the test last year but they specifically told me about the weight.
It's nice not having a supervisor.
👍 🐸 👊 💪 🔥
Enjoying the hiring freeze.
Trump built red tape into hiring and re hiring.
To all the fed losers here, better get back to finding a real job, the clock’s ticking.
You are all about to find out just how much you are actually worth.
