A woke and corrupt California Sheriff from one of the state’s wealthiest counties made ignominious history last week, thanks to her actions.
I dont know the whole story, but I live here in the bay area and this story has been ongoing for over a year. I will say this... The entire establishment came against her. This makes me think she may actually be a 'good guy.' I've never heard her described as woke or anything like that. She was forced out by the woke establishment, for sure tho. Fake news coverage was 100% negative towards her. Normally, only good people get that kind of treatment.

HIgh probability she was a sacrificial pawn for the crimes of the County Board. Not saying she was clean, but she probably found out about all of the criminal activities (including money laundering and WORSE) of the San Mateo County Board, so they got rid of her before she could expose/charge/arrest them.
What you need to understand is the 100% of people in ALL County leadership positions in CA are criminals because they have to continue to cover up the crimes of all previous office holders so they can continue the grift.
Gateway Pundit makes it look like very blatant and shameless corruption. Maybe she was giving them a bad name by being too obvious. Arresting the union representative is going straight for the Democrat golden goose. I'm sure there's more to it, but it looks bad.

The only reason the County Board could vote her out of office was because they held an election, and 84% of the populace voted to give the County Board the power to vote HER out. Unless I really misread what was written, they had a Proposition A, which specifically gave the board the power to vote her specifically out of office. The board vote was unanimous. 84% vote is a lot.
Means, probably she was corrupted but not doing enough so the bad monsters voted her out.
But, the bay area is 99% retarded. So, 84% isn't as bad as you might think. Thats 84% of retards.

Note that Santa Clara County, CA forced their sheriff to resign in 2022 after she was charged with corruption. I believe she was a patsy taking the fall for the cartel after she (and SC sheriff office) covered up pedo activities of powerful Silicon Valley people in Big Tech. This situation is fishy as hell. From what I have read she is really corrupt and did all sorts of illegal things so instead of charging her with a crime and firing her they hold a special election to give the county board special powers to fire her. It makes me think her corruption was tied to much wider corruption in the county and they did not want it revealed in a trial.
