The best summary of the whole "No Kings" thing, and pretty funny to hear it coming from someone you would think would be the poster child for leftists!
Many people, even some who are extremely adamant about their positions, don't pay much attention to politics. They get swept up in group-think. They want approval from their peers, as this lets them know they must be right. But they have a very superficial understanding of the issues and even less knowledge of history.
I thought he spoke well too. It sounds like he can definitely think for himself. He gets it.
We are inherently social beings, so a certain degree of tribalism comes with the territory. However, some people simply don't seem to be able to overcome the pressure to conform rather than determine their own path. You are right. These people need the approval of others to reassure and validate their behavior where they may be overriding their own self doubts. Knowing too much about issues only increases their self doubt, thereby creating more internal conflict. So, they choose to avoid it rather than struggle and have to make a choice that threatens cohesion with the group - especially during this era of cancel culture. Some of us have paid a very high price for our independence and self determination.
Sadly, some people have suppressed their own rational decision making abilities for so long they have lost themselves completely to the group identity. Far too often, what we have witnessed lately has been groupthink that has ratchetted up into violent mob rule - sometimes with what seems like the slightest of provocations that literally turns a spark into a raging bonfire. Thank God we finally have some leadership to push back against that destructive groupthink and try to bring some sanity back into our lives.
It is a mistake to assume that the huge punk rock and its side shoot movements only resulted in sky cryers. The punks got hit first. It was a working class rebellion against the cabal and got infiltrated by what was called gutter punks who were rich kids who wanted to rebel by refusing to work conveniently giving them plenty of time to get drunk or high and wreck lives then run home to mommy and dad when it got difficult on the streets. Too bad they also influenced way too many with their political BS. These are the asshats who “cleaned up” and went on to become professors. They destroyed a perfectly good working class nonviolent rebellion in the process and also stole the look. The OGs were early black pill dispensers. Seeing the problems hidden in the systems and refusing to go along to get along. They just didn’t have all the understanding of the back room engineers driving the mass consumption for profit and gain. So many blamed capitalism instead seeing the shape of the monster but misnaming it. Also I think there were controlled opinions pushing that view too.Unfortunately many did drink the koolaid later- but they were get your hands off my life big brother- before it was cool.
Well said fren. I think you can say that about other movements that end up being coopted and losing the plot. They morph into something else while still retaining the "look."
Truth. I have seen it happen again and again. I genuinely believe it is the nature of the enemy and spreads high and low. Mimic insert take over corrupt push out originals wash rinse repeat
He's right you know...
It's good to see even some fruit loops have a soul and can think for themselves...
A little more logical. :)
This dude is like an alternate reality liberal. He kinda looks cool. Kek. ‘I didn’t like the energy out there’ cracked me up.
Blue hair. What you expect?
No nose ring.
LOL
Usually I'd expect a total libtard with TDS but I guess this guy has at least some of his facts correct
plus some logic.
If you’re gonna be a ghey, be like this fayg.
Howls.
Well, the look definitely does not match the message. But good for him. Welcome to sanity sir.
Always wondered what happened to Judd Nelson from the Breakfast club, turned into a charismatic queer maga fren
🐸💖✊
Don't know him.
The "blue" hasn't seeped into the brain on this one.
The toxins got blocked by thick hair.
Ive no problem with this guy at all. Logic is logic and he has it. He isnt letting emotion drive him like the immature spoiled leftist swill.
Yes, he's logical.

Yes. It's truly funny. That's why I posted it here. There's so many others walking out of D.
Can't judge all books by their covers.
Well said!

This man has given some thought to the matter.
I thought he spoke well too. It sounds like he can definitely think for himself. He gets it.

Amen
He is right.
Yes. Even with blue hair.
I think we need a blue haired logical thinking wing of MAGA now
Howls.
Moments of clarity by a blue haired man who has passed through middle age. Who’d a thunk it?
LOL.

Thanks for the explanation.
You are probably describing the hippie movement also.
Awesome!
Frens come in different guises.
Some of the leftish who woke up took off nose rings and changed hair colors.
As long as he keeps a level head, I really don't care what color his hair may be. Sounds like he is blazing his own trail rather than someone else's.
Rose DeLauro's evil nephew (kidding)
LOL
Only issue I have with what he said was he won the popular vote. Thats not how America works. Other than that he is a needle in a haystack.
Yes, blue hair logical person. :)
