Inflation, fren.. nobody has the EXTRA money to buy non-essential products, that's it.
The only thing you'll fork out of your wallet right now is day to day needs, medicines, food, but non-essential stuff..forget it. Everyone's in debt in general, and this additional blow just stops everyone from shopping. Even the malls are empty!
Amazon is doing the same thing. Are they converting to robots?
Economy just sucks lately for consumers. I know this because I work indirectly for Amazon and sales have dropped 50%. I don't even know if I'll have a job next year. People can't afford to buy non essential items when groceries, fuel is up so much. Its just the reality right now. Nobody has extra money to buy anything else!
When economy was good, when we got stimulus checks, business was up. We were getting hundreds of orders per day. Now, it's less than 40 a day. Go figure,

I've been on a 90% boycott of Amazon because of the Woke crap. I know there are others doing the same. I can't say I have gone 100% like with Target, Nike, Disney, etc. I shop more locally or smaller online retailers whenever possible.

I think in general people are purchasing much less online. I'm disappointed but not surprised because groceries and fuel alone cost so much I think people are spending less on unnecessary items. I really hope golden era will include fixing the inflation and some stimulus checks would be nice. I hate to say this but it's what drives the economy.

UPS service here sucks pond scum. It was so bad that I left a review explaining that to call the UPS workers retarded would be an insult to people who are actually retarded. Needless to say that review got deleted. I had detailed around 10 failed deliveries that took multiple attempts to get to the correct address.
Maybe firing 48k DEI hires and hiring decent workers with IQs over 100 will help.

After four years of Biden flooding the US with 20 million illegals on the system, and now the shut down happening, it is going to take a little while for things to settle. Taking all these off the system may even cause big chain stores to go under. 25% of Walmart sales---I heard that number---is EBT. You lose 25% a month and good luck. Prices are high right now but I am hoping by the end of the year things will star coming down.IMO
