Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment

Mass UFO sighting in Denver! https://x.com/grok/status/1989404252498968865
FYI, The movie Brazil is on Turner Classic Movies tonight at 8 PM eastern. This is a great companion movie for V for Vendetta made about 20 years earlier. This movie has been censored a lot and the studio didn’t want it released. I can’t remember the last time I saw it on American television and it is not available for streaming.
anyone else ASS-BACKWARDS this week? is it the sun's doing? hmmmm
Ha ha 🤣 I’m that way most days.
No new X22 last night? Dave must be tired after all the yelling the day before
Like other Americans, I want to see the Epstein crimes exposed, I want to know what the DOJ has that they do not want us to know about, but not at the risk of national security, I can wait, I can quell my morbid curiousity in Faith that all darkness is going to be bathed in the full light of truth. But the question of "why now"? is being spun as a Democrat party distraction in their ever constant desire to stop the President to regain power. My thoughts about "why now" are this. The USA is finally attacking the drug cartels head on. I think you all know that the drug trade is probably and easily in the billions. It is international and abetted by the CIA and those in our own military. If the flow of money from the trade is threatened, and it is a LOT of money, and it is tied in with gun and weapon smuggling. Billions. This is not about trying to get Dems vs GOP elected or not, that would just be a side effect that they are hoping for. My hunch is that this is much bigger than what is going on in politics as usual, this is about an underground economy that is running much of the world. Operation Southern Spear will be an attempt to bring that economy to its knees. You better know that the dark powers will protect that with all of their power, and billions of dollars hold a lot of power. It is not just about getting drugs off of our streets, it is about hitting them relentlessly to stop the flow. That is "why now?"
Even if it’s released normies will think it’s another lie from Trump & crew.

Even Small Talk With God Is Not Small. My Morning Bible Read Was Psalm 93. Theme: God's unchanging and mighty nature. His creation reminds us of his great power.
I came upon this story on YouTube by chance tonight and it touched me deeply. If you are Christian or atheist it doesn't matter. It is worth your time to witness this true miracle. (44hoursinheaven.)Not a neer death Experience, this guy died for 44 minutes. His brain was gone. His organs were dead. If you are a non believer, this is your choice to live for eternity or not.
Do you have a link? Several years ago I watched something similar. A pastor or priest told the story of sitting with a woman dying in a nursing home. Her family refused to come and didn’t want to know or attend her funeral. He explained her dying in such agony details. She screamed a lot. He assumed she was seeing the devil and going to hell. My explanation isn’t very good. Normally I don’t watch stuff like this because you don’t know what’s fake. He was telling the truth or a very good actor.
44hoursinheaven.org he also has a ministry. He sounds very credible to me.
Thanks I’ll watch it.
Sounds cool! So do we live multiple/infinite lifetimes? All the NDE stuff seems to confirm this.
That I dont know.
👉🏻 Isaiah 25:1 (NKJV): O Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, For You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. 🙏🏻

And GameStop is down to 20.72, $0.75 under its liquidation cash value.
$1 is worth $0.94, donchaknow!

I buy calls on mining companies on these dips, and sell them when we spike up.
Its a nice little money machine,
What’s reward% vs time if you don’t mind asking, leaving absolute numbers out?
One week I bought and sold 2 times other times up to two weeks. Returns very from 30-50%.
Options can be tricky if your not familiar with them.....
For sure.
can ai stalk people? today was interesting. the first place I goto today was a bank to work on their internet. before the bank opens I was sitting in a chair outside the bank door. This is in a multi-tenant building and I was in the common space.
while sitting there a police officer shows up. I don't like the thin blue line flag, but police officers that are normal don't bother me at all. The police officer says he is just checking out the bank because the silent alarm went off.
at this point in was only sitting there about 5 minutes too. Pretty fast time to get there.
The Bank manager arrives and I tell the manager the police showed up for a silent alarm and the manager did not know why the silent alarm went off. The mgr called their corporate. I never got the answer before leaving. That was interesting. I have so many gadgets on the internet that I am a roaming internet provider all by myself.
it was as-if I was being swatted but at work. haha.
when police show up on me it is no different than a druggie showing up on me. With both I ask myself what are they going to want from me and how do I keep the peace? One is addicted to ID and the other is addicted to help in the form money for drugs. I suspect the police officer did not ask for ID because this multi-tennant building requires one to sign in when walking in unfortunately. I wish I put Donald Duck now to see what would have happened.
Patterns matter. If you see cops showing up more than once out of the blue, you should be concerned. If its just once in bluemoon, it could simply be a coincidence.
Yeah. That and you u/God_wins need to be checking in with us every day. Very sus. Edit: sorry to be sounding like your mom but…
You need to tag u/God_wins to make sure they read your message!
Done.
if we had a glance at the war plan we would see that it's a jammed schedule every step of the way so many things have to be done in the right order and it just takes so long but that length of time is put to Great use by waking people up as compassionately as possible. Don't project your Genius too strongly on to people.
Are you arguing with someone? Or is this a generic comment?
Generic.
Evolutionary Vestigial Features: Worse Than Myth, a Scam BY RANDY J. GULIUZZA, P.E., M.D. | FRIDAY, AUGUST 29, 2025
https://www.icr.org/article/evolutionary-vestigial-features-worse
Due to teachers’ influence during the formative years of young people’s lives, they can be a powerful force in spreading evolution to new generations. Teachers carry real authority. They are implicitly trusted to teach truth and are stronger by virtue of knowledge their students don’t possess.
As a sophomore in high school biology, I knew nothing about my appendix. So when my trusted teacher told me that it was a vestigial organ, a useless leftover (i.e., a vestige) from my evolutionary ancestors, I believed it.1 Why wouldn’t I? But I was fooled. It wasn’t until much later that I learned the appendix plays a major role in digestive system health.2
A scam is when one person abuses the virtue of trust to deceive another person who’s typically weaker in knowledge or experience and therefore vulnerable. People who’ve been scammed may also say that they’ve been duped, suckered, or tricked into allowing themselves to be taken advantage of. Vestigial organs are a large-scale scam used to dupe people into believing evolution. There’s no other word to describe it.
The best tool against being suckered by a scam is knowledge. Much literature refutes every evolutionary biologist’s alleged vestigial organ claim.3 Of more use, though, is the ability to recognize the pattern of how the vestigial organ scam is carried out.
As an illustration of this pattern, my biology teacher back in 1975 showed pictures of chimpanzees walking. I was told my arm-swinging-while-walking trait was an evolutionary leftover from the arm movements of my ape ancestors. I wasn’t alone in hearing this. A report on research in 2009 shows that the vestigial arm-swinging story has been repeated for decades. It said, “It has long been argued that the way we move our arms when walking is a vestige of our ancestral life on all fours.”4
We can now begin to recognize the key steps of evolutionary biologists’ vestigial organs scam.
Identify an obscure body part or action that most people have essentially no knowledge of (e.g., appendix, tailbone, adenoids, thymus and pineal glands, arrector pili muscles causing goosebumps, plica semilunaris or “third eyelid,” etc.). Compound the ambiguity by selecting a characteristic, like human arm swinging, where the function isn’t immediately intuitive as it is, for example, with an eye, a heart, or breathing. Maintain obscurity by skipping over any experiments to rule out potential functions. Declare that the part is a vestigial remnant of past evolution—since no one knows of a useful function. Ask inexperienced people, “If organisms were designed, why would God put a useless ____ in them? Aren’t ____ better explained by descent with modification?” Play that note for decades until serious, experiment-oriented scientists test the evolutionary biologist’s story and discover a useful function (or even more utility) that shows how nonsensical the story is. Ignore those research findings until accumulating press coverage forces a quiet abandonment of that particular vestigial-feature story. Then claim that evolutionary biologists knew all along that it likely had some function.
Image credit: desertrosestudios | BigStock Back to the arm swinging. Biomechanics experts tested the metabolic efficiency of human arm swinging and discovered that not swinging used 12% more energy, and walking with opposite-to-normal arm phasing caused the metabolic rate to increase by 26%.5 The 2009 study concluded, “Rather than a facultative relic of the locomotion needs of our quadrupedal ancestors, arm swinging is an integral part of the energy economy of human gait.”5 Steven Collins, study coauthor and a biomechanical engineer (not an evolutionary biologist) at Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands, said, “This puts to rest the theory that arm swinging is a vestigial relic from our quadrupedal ancestors.”6
Vestigial features are not a real thing; rather, they are a concept that exists only in the mind of the beholder. It’s an empty argument from ignorance that, surprisingly, isn’t made by benchsitting evolutionary biologists but by their first-string players who keep the scam going.
But now you have the tools to recognize these scams. Try putting this critical vestigial-feature analysis to practice. Professor Jerry Coyne teaches,
Image credit: Herraez | BigStock Whales are treasure troves of vestigial organs. Many living species have a vestigial pelvis and leg bones…[from] their descent from four-legged ancestors…they’re not connected to the rest of the bones, but are simply imbedded in tissue. They once were part of the skeleton, but became disconnected and tiny when they were no longer needed.”7
How many elements of a scam can you identify in Coyne’s claim?8 You should now feel equipped and hopefully empowered with the knowledge to identify the essential elements of the vestigial organ scam and bust this myth for others.

There is no mystery in this. He was the guy who wrote the hitpiece book "Fire and Fury". Here is the full context of the email, which if you read makes you udnerstand what this is about:
https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/michael-wolff-journalist-emailed-jeffrey-epstein-donald-trump/story?id=127457861
It all hinges on. "being on the plane". Trump says that referring to the Lolita express, but of course its well known that long before he knew about Epstein he had flown on his plane from Florida to NY. Word games, which they did use and a bunch of normies actually believe that his name is on the list flying the lolitha express to the Island.
Ask them to show where he is.
